Good for city exploring - won’t be returning unfortunately
Great little hotel if you don’t plan on being in the rooms often
Pros - free breakfast and drinks
- quiet at night, away from the main streets of old town
- all staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you!
-modern rooms with huuuge comfy beds.
Cons - our rooms balcony bath leaked so we didn’t bother using. -the aircon was clearly in need of a clean as our room stank of damp and we ended up full of a cold and cough from the damp and mould, presumably from the aircon.
We were only saying 2 nights so did not bother to ask to change room but if you plan on staying longer and find the room smells of damp I would recommend asking to change.

Fantastic staff and room
The service at the front desk is fantastic espeicially for staff Paul and Bua. They were really friendly and acceded to all our request. Room was also fantastic with clean room and fantastic fluffy bed and pillow. Will really recommend to all friends and family. Love it
Good but not great
In fairness, we didnt spend too much for this hotel stay as it was only for 1 night stay near the Old Town.
A simple but well design boutique hotel (although start to show its age) and comes with co-working space, nice outdoor pool and simple buffet breakfast.
Room cleanliness, mattress and pillow quality and overall hotel service was just basic as what you would expect from a boutique hotel.
Hotel is approx 7min stroll to the old town. Nearest 7-11 is probably a 10min walk away.
Overall a good simple budget hotel if you are not fussy.

Decent Rooms, Breakfast less than So-So
I stayed here recently and noticed the hotel is incredibly popular with Malaysian tourists, as there were many visiting during our stay.
The room itself was very decent. The air conditioning worked beautifully, and the shower had strong, excellent water pressure. I also absolutely loved the banana-scented shampoo and soap provided, it was a very nice touch. However, the room falls short on practical design. There were not enough hooks or places to hang towels and clothes, and there are no USB outlets anywhere.
The breakfast service was easily the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. Even though breakfast is supposed to start at 7:00 AM, I went down right on time to find an empty room and equally empty food trays, and guests all waiting. When the food finally appeared, the chicken satay was cold and hard as a rock. The only saving grace was the grilled pork that came out around 7:30 AM, which was quite nice. Be wary of the complimentary coffee and snack station next to the lobby, smell the food before putting in mouth. The biscuit in the jar was rancid.
For a hotel of this popularity, I fully expected bellboy service, but there is none. As an older guest, having to lug heavy family luggage all the way from the parking lot by myself was exhausting. My back hurts so much I feel like I ended up with a few pieces of spine! In terms of convenience, there is no 7-Eleven in the immediate surroundings, but there is a large, touristy restaurant right next door if you are looking for dinner. To wrap this up, the terrible breakfast service really spoiled the whole experience, otherwise, this would be a rather decent hotel.
