This excellent spa and wellness resort treats its guests to panoramic ocean views. Nestled between two perfect white sand beaches, each one of the modern apartments and penthouses enjoys breath-taking views over the Andaman Sea. All of the units are equipped with fully-functional kitchenettes that are perfect for preparing tasty meals, and separate dining and sleeping areas. Guests who want to relax can visit the spa and treat themselves to any of the invigorating procedures, or simply work on their tan around the outdoor pool. There is also a fitness centre for those who want to maintain their shape or who had finally decided to start exercising. For dining the onsite restaurant serves delicious Thai and western dishes, but those who want to explore the local venues will be just a 5-minute ride from Patong Beach and the bustling Bangla Road. Deposit THB 3, 000 is required upon check in.

Misleading sales, do not sign up to packages before reading

We paid approximately €4,500 to join Absolute Resorts after being promised access to resort stays and significant travel benefits. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.
What was not made clear to us during the sales process was that many of the advertised resort stays were only available during off-season periods, which significantly reduced the value of the membership. We also later discovered that booking fees apply, and in many cases these fees were higher than the cost of booking comparable accommodation independently through other websites.
We found several occasions where accommodation could be booked elsewhere for less money than through the membership, despite already having paid a substantial upfront fee. This left us questioning the value of what we had purchased and whether the benefits were accurately represented.
Had we known the true costs, restrictions, and limitations before signing up, we would not have proceeded with the purchase.
Our advice to anyone considering an Absolute Resorts package is to do extensive research, compare prices independently, and carefully review all fees, seasonal restrictions, and booking conditions before committing.

The hotel is very comfortable and we loved the 3 pools and the addition of the sports bar is fantastic. Rooms are lovely and May May was wonderful with looking after our room on a daily basis, we could not ask any more from her. The staff of the resort were very good and made us very welcome. Unfortunately the prices were on par with Australian prices. A short walk up the hill to the choice of four or five restaurants and the prices were much more realistic, the prices for food and beer and even the massages were way over the top. Unfortunately you have to spend time with the sales people trying to up sell up to the next level of time share and they are very persistent, when it doesn’t go as planned they crack itThe staff are the best thing about Twin Sands. We spent two nights in Krabi and that will be our next place to visit, so mush cheaper and no hassle from sales people.
