Situated in Kata Beach, this charming boutique resort is around 10 minutes' walk from the centre of the town and just 500 metres from the beautiful beach and the shops and bars along it. Home to Phuket Island's most beautiful and exotic healing centre, it is the perfect place for a truly rejuvenating vacation. The massage therapists have been thoroughly trained in healing therapies in order to deliver a unique experience. Further relaxation can be found in the steam room, and those who enjoy swimming can take advantage of the outdoor pool with its separate children's swimming area. Refreshments are available from the poolside snack bar and for a delicious Thai or international meal guests can head to the excellent restaurant. The grill offers room service and serves a wide range of meats and European dishes, the perfect place where to spend a relaxed evening.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Swawasdee is absolutely incredible! Everywhere you look there is something amazing to see. The pool access rooms are the best, walking out from your door into the pool is so nice. Swim up bar is good too.
Boy is the absolute best, we miss him lots, he is such a vibe! His banter and fun is a credit to the hotel. K2 was also super friendly and fun. Boss man the security guard out the front was also great and bought the laughs.
I would highly recommend staying here, it’s stunning with the friendliest staff.
They have hourly bus rides to the beach, great location but on a quiet side street tucked away from the business and noises.
What an amazing place. Despite the hectic environment on the streets of Phuket, once you get behind the walls of Sawasdee Village you're in another world. Although there are some elements of the resort that need to be updated, none of it will impact your stay. The privacy is fantastic, the Baray Villa is amazing and the pool is refreshing. The restaurant food was nice and assortment unique. We utilized many opptys to take shuttles and were picked up right out front promptly every day. The staff is attentive and super friendly. Always willing to help! It's a 20 min walk to the beach, if you walk. Also, a 10 min walk to the Kata Night Market which you can't miss. This is a prime location in Kata and I did not regret the choice of Sawasdee Village
The best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's absolutely beautiful, the whole hotel is beautifully decorated and feels very cultural, you definitely feel you are in Thailand (unlike many chains/corporate hotels where you could be anywhere warm) but also all the creature comforts are available. There are 3 large pools all with swim up bars and plenty of sunbeds. 5-10 min walk to the beach so great location, close to the action without any noise.
We had a garden view room close to everything and yet quiet. The room was clean, looked fantastic, shower one side, toilet the other, sink between. Lovely big four poster bed, wonderful lighting. Inadequate storage, so kept our cases accessable. Stayed three nights, wish we had booked a fourth. Everything outside the room and within the hotel complex was visually stunning. The long pool weaves its way past rooms that have direct access. It was our favourite retreat. We consider our room choice preferable to those adjacent. Breakfasts were fantastic and staff very friendly.
My friend arrives 13th March and we was blown away straight away by the decor, and surrounding style, very morrocan and thai vibes. Its stunning. We had a beautiful room just out side the pool and swim up bar. We stayed there for 4 nights I wished we stayed for longer. The saff were lovely and breakfast was nice too. This is the place to stay.
