We arrived at this hotel yesterday, August 14th, 2026. As soon as we received our rooms, we were hit with a severe and disgusting smell of mold and rot. I immediately contacted the front desk. They sent staff over who simply sprayed air freshener. Two hours later, the smell was even worse. They came back and cleaned the air vents, but it didn't help at all. When I complained again about the persistent stench and also pointed out that the rooms we received were not the ones we actually booked, the staff completely dismissed us. Their only response was that the hotel is fully booked and "this is what we have." The absolute worst part happened at midnight. We turned off the lights to go to sleep and started hearing scratching and gnawing noises. I thought it might be mice, but when I turned the lights back on, I saw a massive swarm of termites crawling right out of the wooden parquet floor! It is completely obvious that the horrible smell is coming from the rotting floorboards. The staff simply does not understand the severity of the situation, and there is absolutely no one to talk to who cares or takes responsibility. This hotel is absolutely horrific. Do yourselves a favor and do not come anywhere near this place!

Incredible Resort and Fab for Kids
What a wonderful 9 nights here in Aug 26, family from Australia had been before but it was my first visit and I loved every minute. The staff are incredible and always made a fuss of my young nieces. The choice for food and drinks was amazing and the resort itself is stunning. Highly recommend and will def be back

This is our 3rd visit, highly recommended as a relaxing holiday destination. . The resort has many fantastic places to eat with a wide varity available. The resort has seveal pools and facilities ranging from family and childrens play spaces to the adults only pool and quiet zones. So there is something for everyone.
The staff are excellent, and go the exta mikecto make it a spcial holiday. Transport is easy and reasonably priced, book your airport pick-up when you book, they'll take care of the rest, waitingvupon arrical so you can relax.

Above & Beyond Customer Service – Exceptional Experience at Katathani!
We arrived at Katathani after an exhausting journey with flight delays and a long drive, only to discover a frustrating setback, our booking agency had accidentally reserved the wrong room type for our family of four.
From the moment we walked in, the entire front desk team was warm and welcoming. When we brought the issue to Nadda, the reception manager, she handled everything with exceptional empathy and professionalism. She immediately put us at ease, told us not to worry, and took charge of finding a solution. Shortly after, she arranged a much larger room that comfortably accommodated our entire family with no extra fees.
The genuine care and hospitality we experienced was incredible. Special thanks to Pearly from the reception desk for seamlessly guiding us to our new room, as well as Com and Tiw from the team for their outstanding service. Nadda and her team went above and beyond to turn a stressful situation into a wonderful stay for our family. We are truly grateful!
