On-site shopping opportunities include a boutique shop, jewellery shop, gift shop and mini mart - you could stay around the hotel all day everyday, with no reason to leave! But if you are looking to venture out of the resort, there is a tour desk available to help arrange a choice of activities, sightseeing excursions and island-hopping tours.

Not anywhere near a 5 Star Resort!!
Never a 5 Star, dont be fooled!!! Everything very cheap, furniture, rooms. At check in it was manic, loads of people trying to check in at once, rooms not ready in time. This isnt your typical 5 star resort, its more to a standard of a 2 or 3 star!!
Awesome hotel, cannot recommend highly enough
Quite simply, this is an awesome hotel and complex for families and couples.
Lovely, clean, modern spacious rooms (we stayed in the Thani wing), fantastic breakfast options, superb selection of pools for adults and children (the children water facilities are excellent) and super friendly and helpful staff (special thank you to staff members Com, Beer and Bee!)
Dotted around the hotel complex are restaurants with Thai and Western options that look like they are independent businesses, but in fact they are all part of the same complex. Cleverly done.
And to top it all off you have excellent access to a large, clean beach and the beautiful warm waters of the Andaman Sea.
I'm missing this place quite badly already and can't wait to return with my family!

Destination Wedding
We went for a friends wedding. Hotel facilities, service and beach were all great.
well priced favorite resort
Excellent location, good value, lovely and clean, our room showing age and in need of refurbishment. The staff are always fantastic and full marks to management for the staff training. The new restaurants are a great addition since last year and the separation of families - older families and adult only areas is fantastic. It is our favorite Thai resort and we have tried many over a 30 year period. There are other more luxurious, but for value, friendliness, quality and choice of food, pools, etc. Katathani takes a lot of beating

Perfect wedding and stay!!
We had our wedding at the hotel in July this year, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were joined by both friends and family who had travelled a long way to be there, which made the experience even more special.
The hotel was incredibly helpful both before and during the wedding. We received amazing support from the wedding team, and we honestly cannot praise them enough. They were professional, kind, attentive and made everything feel so much easier for us.
The hotel itself was also beautiful, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding and stay so memorable. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially to anyone considering having their wedding there.
