The resort's ambience is calm and peaceful with a total of 207 rooms housed in three low-rise buildings designed in southern Thai architectural style, so as to be culturally as well as environmentally in tune with their surroundings.

Lovely large hotel with access across the road to Karon beach. We stayed in a deluxe suite absolutely fantastic with two balconies with direct access to the swimming pool. Staff friendly and helpful on reception needed to leave deposit in cash 3000 bahts returned on check out. Breakfast was good plenty of choices. On main strip easy access to bars and restaurants
Very kind staf. Very reasonable price. Half board dinner was perfect and huge. We liked everything while we were there. Would be happy to come again. The room, the bed, the pool was good and kept so clean. Icecream for free on the reception:) Thanks for everything!
I recently stayed at the Waraburi Phuket Hotel in Karon Beach from May 8 to May 11, 2025. My overall experience was pleasant, and I'll break down the different aspects of my stay below. Check-in and Staff The front desk staff were wonderful and attentive during check-in, room transfers, and check-out. A deposit of 100 USD, 100 Euro, or the equivalent in Thai Baht is required upon check-in. The hotel was quite busy, even during the off-season, so early check-in wasn't an option. The rooms are usually ready between 1 PM and 2 PM. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags at the reception (which is very safe) and explore the nearby market, which is only a three-minute walk away. You could also grab a head and neck massage at a nearby spa. Rooms I booked a Superior Double Room with Pool View for one night and a Pool Access Room with Half Board for the remaining five nights. The superior double room was nice, with a small balcony and a huge bathroom featuring both a shower and a bathtub. The bathroom was definitely the highlight. The pool access room was also great. It was roughly the same size as the superior double room, but the bathroom was smaller. The best part of this room was direct access to the pool. The balcony had a small coffee table, a sun chair, and a regular chair, making it easy to relax and dip in the water whenever you wanted. While the pool officially closes at 7 PM, having a pool access room allows you to use your section of the pool later. The Seaview balcony rooms are jokes it is not worth paying. My main issue with both rooms was the poor toilet ventilation. The smell was a noticeable problem, and I'd recommend the hotel improve the ventilation system in all the bathrooms. Facilities • The Pool: The main pool is long with small islands in the middle that have sunbeds, umbrellas, and a shower area. It's not very deep, but it's great for relaxing. I noticed some small gaps between the tiles at the edges, so be careful to avoid scratches. The pool bar was my favorite spot. It's open during pool hours and serves amazing cocktails, mocktails, and snacks. • Amenities: The resort has a small gym with limited equipment, but it was enough to get a decent workout. Be careful when using the multi-station, as some parts are rusty and need maintenance. There's also a table tennis area outside the gym. The reception offers a free but not-so-tasty ice cream daily from a refrigerator. The internet worked well with no complaints. • Spa & Bar: The hotel has a bar called Silk Bar, but it was empty during my stay, so I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like. The spa was amazing. The staff were kind, professional, and gave a fantastic two-hour treatment with a body scrub, full-body, and face massage. However, the facility wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom after the massage. You might find a better option outside the hotel, but the staff themselves were exceptional. • Restaurant: The restaurant staff were all kind, hardworking, and always smiling. The food was good, but not outstanding. The breakfast menu, which includes a mix of Thai and international options, was the same every day, which could get repetitive for some people. Getting a table in the morning was sometimes difficult, but the staff always found a way to accommodate us. I chose the Half Board option, which allowed me to have either lunch or dinner. The à la carte options were limited, but I was happy with the food, especially their delicious pizza. Nearby Area The hotel's location is excellent. There's a 7-Eleven and a money exchange just a two-minute walk away. You can find plenty of dining options, a coffee shop, and souvenir stalls within a short walk. Patong Beach (Bangla Road) is about a 20-25 minute taxi ride away. I was lucky enough to be there during a local football match and carnival on the beach, which was a five-minute walk away. The local food at the carnival was mind-blowing, so I highly recommend checking the schedule or asking the staff about upcoming events. Complaint : I noticed upon my arrival there were staff painting in the balcony and ceiling of 3rd floor when there were people in the pool. It could be danger if they accidentally dropped the painting tools. Also, I noticed the residue of the old paint was falling to the poolside while they are scratching it off from the balcony wall. More precautions and safety rules need to be implemented and followed.
Our beachfront resort stay was nothing short of perfect! The location was unbeatable, with direct access to a stunning, clean beach and a pool view from our room. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering friendly and attentive service throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious, and spotless. The breakfast had options. Whether lounging by the pool or walking along the shore, every moment felt relaxing and rejuvenating. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach getaway and will definitely return.
Myself and my wife had the pleasure of staying at the Woraburi Phuket Resort & Spa between the 20th and 30th April 26. The primary reason for our stay in Phuket and this hotel was to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary. When I made the original booking I had an estimated arrival time of 1500, however, due to ongoing situation in the middle East, our flight was changed and we were going to arrive at the hotel at about 0900 of the morning of the 20th April. I messaged the hotel and asked if it was possible to have an early check-in. On arrival at the hotel at 0910, we were met by the most wonderful reception staff and they informed us that our room would be ready at 1000. We were also given special tickets for “Dinner” and some complimentary tickets for the A La Carte menu. We were over the moon with all of this and after a short wait and a free ice-cream given to us by reception we were escorted to our room with help with our luggage. It was a perfect start. We had chosen a pool access room and we were not disappointed. The room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and the pool access area was just perfect. After partially unpacking to get our bathing costumes out, we were straight in the pool. It was brilliant. The swim up pool bar was also lovely and we did participate in a few cocktails while sitting in a tropical Paradise. I am not going to go into great details about everything other than to say the hotel is in a perfect location, next to the glorious Karon Beach and right next to all the bars and shops you would ever need, including the Karon Market. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and Smiles Restaurant and Bar where you can have a lovely meal inside or out or sit at the beach bar and have a drink watching the sunset was perfect in all respects. We used the restaurant a couple of times and even had a pizza which was lovely. However, we used the A La Carte menu for our wedding anniversary meal and wow what a meal. 4 courses, each one of which could have been a meal on it’s own. They were all delicious and the service was superb. We were even treated to a live band where we were able to dance to our favourite song. For us, where this hotel really stands out is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and they honestly could not do enough to help you. The maid service for the room was perfect and on the day of our wedding anniversary we were greeted with an amazing display of Swans and figures to celebrate our special day. This had been arranged by the reception manager, who had been contacted by our daughters about our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately I do not have all the names of the staff we had help us but I do give a special thank you to all of you, especially the reception manager, all the reception staff, all the room maids and in particular the one that made our special anniversary display on our bed, also to all the staff including the pool staff and breakfast staff that made our stay at your hotel so pleasurable.
A special mention has to go to the bar and restaurant staff. A huge thanks to “Boy” (Wirat), “Aung Soe”, Olv, Nack, Mimi and all others who looked after us so well at the Smiles Beach bar and the pool bar. Thank you and you made our holiday very special and one we will not forget. I would also like to give a special mention to “Katy” who ran the holiday excursions desk. We had two excellent days out with the Phuket Tour and a visit to the famous James Bond Island. But a huge thank you for the complimentary tickets to the Phuket Simon Cabaret for the evening of our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful show in all respects and so a massive thank you for that. All in all, we had the most perfect holiday in Thailand to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary and it was the Woraburi Phuket Resort & Spa that made it happen. A massive sincere thank you to all of you and hopefully one day we can return. All our love to you all. Martin and Linda Spanswick from the UK
