Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort

10/10 Exceptional Service from the whole team at the Pullman Karon. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived to the time we left. After one night we absolutely fell in love with the resort and staff we decided to extend by another 5 nights. Traveling as a family of 4 with two four year olds we have to say this has been the most enjoyable holiday experience for us. The staff made us feel like apart of the family and their care was so genuine. The resort is so beautiful with stunning ocean views from the room but for us the most beautiful view was from the Malaengpor restaurant which overlooks the lake, hills and big budda. You feel like you’re in your own little sanctuary. We enjoyed one of the most incredibly tasty breakfasts of any resort we have been too and also evening cocktail hour was much enjoyed thanks to our platinum Accor status. Our kids loved the pancake machine and the freshly made waffles. Special mention to Moon, Yaya, Snack, Aof, Khem and Justine. Our kids absolutely loved the kids club which was massive over two floors with loads of activities, toys, slides and a massive ball pit. There were really fun scheduled activities for the kids to join in with favourite being the chicken feeding and arts and crafts. Special shout out to Mody, Aoy, Ae and Aanie. The newly renovated rooms were stunning and like everything with the resort it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were super tidy and the house keeping team were so caring and thoughtful with creating fun elephants and other animals for the kids from the towels. Thanks to Bowy and Pook for your amazing work. Checkout was effortless and thanks to Gail and Thong for helping with our truck load of bags. Big shout out to Hera, Ella, Mody, Berm and Khem for the love and care they showed our kids and our family. We leave today so grateful we decided to stay here and can definitely say we will be back and that we highly recommended this resort for families with young kids.

I have stayed at more than 10 Pullman hotels, and I can comfortably say Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort is one of the best Pullman experiences I’ve had so far.

I spent 5 days here and never felt the need to leave the resort. That probably says enough! There is simply so much to enjoy within the property.

The landscaping is beautiful — lots of greenery, open spaces and a real resort feeling. You have the beach and sea views, but at the same time there are beautiful gardens and a lake within the property. Having breakfast every morning overlooking the lake and greenery was such a relaxing way to start the day.

As an ALL Platinum member, I really appreciated the recognition of my status. I received an upgrade to a spacious suite with a sea view, together with access to the Panoramic Lounge. The view from the lounge is probably one of my favourite parts of the hotel. It is a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy Phuket.

But what really makes a hotel experience memorable is the people.

A special recognition to Moon and her team at the Panoramic Lounge, including August, Artair and Hera.

I spent quite a bit of time at the lounge during my stay and could observe how Moon works with her team. She is not only good with guests; from my observation, she is also a very good leader. I saw her patiently teaching and explaining things to her team members, while stepping in to support them when needed.

That stood out to me.

Hospitality is ultimately delivered by people, and a good leader creates a team that makes guests feel genuinely welcome. Moon and her team certainly enhanced my experience during these five days. Thank you!

The resort facilities are another major highlight. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve encountered. Good equipment, plenty of space, a sauna in the changing room, and I particularly loved the treadmill. For someone who likes to exercise while travelling, this is a proper gym rather than just a small hotel fitness room.

There are also plenty of activities: tennis, pickleball, bicycles, scooters for rent, yoga room, spa and other resort activities. Add the beach and swimming pools and there really isn’t much reason to leave.

Breakfast was also one of the best parts of the stay. Good selection, but for me the environment makes it even better. Sitting there in the morning looking across the lake and all the greenery just puts you into holiday mode.

There are several restaurants within the resort as well, so even though I stayed entirely on the property for five days, food choices were never really an issue.

And the room? Nothing to complain about. 😄

My suite was spacious, comfortable and had a beautiful sea view. I was also surprised by the housekeeping attention. I checked in around 2:40pm and by approximately 5pm housekeeping came around again. During the stay it felt like the room was being attended to more than once a day, which actually makes a lot of sense for a beach resort where guests are constantly coming back from the beach or pool.

I travel frequently and spend a lot of nights in Accor properties, so naturally I compare experiences between hotels. This property stands out because it brings together the things that make a resort holiday enjoyable: beach, sea views, beautiful greenery, excellent facilities, plenty of activities, good food and, most importantly, warm hospitality.

If you’re coming to Phuket and your idea of a holiday is to slow down, enjoy the beach, exercise, eat well, admire the scenery and simply spend time within the resort, Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort is an easy recommendation from me.

There are several Pullman properties in Phuket, but after this experience, this is one I would happily return to.

Five days without leaving the resort — I think that is probably the best compliment I can give it.

Beautiful hospitality staff especially in the Panorama lounge- Moon; Hera and Tar Tar! Lovely spa also. Only 4 star because of the room which had an aged feel, and our poolside cocktail which never arrived.
