Phunawa Resort

Lovely suites, modern and we even had our own private roof terrace with a Jacuzzi, well worth the money we booked here as a nearby hotel refused to honour our booking, due to being over booked, we booked here and arrived 15 mins later. Everything ran smoothly, we paid our 2000 bart deposit and was in our room within another 15 mins, they took all our suitcases up to the room all we had to do was relax 😊. They offered a shuttle bus to the beach with a return 3 times a day, we however liked the walk it only took 10 mins. if you want a relaxing retreat this is your place, breakfast was included was ok had freshly made omelet and had other options such as pasta, toast chicken sausages and some Thai options, staff where always very helpful and rooms were kept very clean, if ever in this area again this will be my first point of call

Unprofessional behaviour of staff and property rules. Not at all kids friendly. They cut the light at 12 without any prior notification. Pool is gins and breakfast is not even good. Please remind breakfast is 7-10 but they didnt refill after 9:30.

If you want close to the action, shops, markets, bars, restaurants, This place is about 10 mins by car from that. But has little shops and bars and restaurants close by. 10 mins from the beach by car. A good family based resort with the staff that will help with anything. Lovely staff. Clean and tidy. Stayed in one of the 1 bedroom penthouse rooms, Bed was hard but room was spacious and clean. The pool roof top area is accessible by a spiral staircase, Outside the main door which was a disappointment because I thought it was all on 1 level. Food and drinks were great. I would recommend if you were ok with being a little away from the action.
