Mandarava Resort and Spa

This is my third stay here and it’s wonderful. I had a lovely massage at the Cheeva spa by Milky who was amazing. 100% recommend!

If you visit Cheeva Spa, I highly recommend trying the Thai Aroma or Hot Stone Therapy! The Thai Aroma massage combines passive stretching with smooth oil strokes, making it both invigorating and relaxing. The Hot Stone treatment was fantastic for deep relaxation, using smooth heated stones to soothe every bit of tension. Our therapists, Tik and Milky, were fantastic—very skilled, attentive, and kind. After our treatments, we spent time relaxing in the free jacuzzi and steam room, which overlook an incredible view. It was the perfect spa afternoon!

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service and Beautiful Surroundings

What impressed me from the very beginning was the check-in experience. The staff provided excellent recommendations and were very friendly and welcoming.

What I loved most was the hotel’s beautiful, lush greenery, with its many varieties of mature trees that have been preserved. The layout of the rooms makes you feel as though you are staying in a valley surrounded by hills and greenery. There are even small streams that resemble waterfalls flowing between the rooms, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.

The reception staff and restaurant team were always smiling, cheerful, and welcoming, and the same was true of the staff at the pool. The drivers were also lovely and friendly. Everyone at the restaurant and pool bar was incredibly kind and hospitable.

The hotel has spacious grounds, and the breakfast offers such a wide variety of choices that it is almost impossible to try everything. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel is in an excellent location. The Mojito at the pool bar was absolutely delicious!

Suggestions for Improvement

1. Air Conditioning

The air conditioning in the room was not very effective, even when set to the lowest temperature.

2. Noise and Pool Etiquette

Some guests staying at the hotel were not particularly considerate of others.

On the second day, while I was at the swimming pool, there was a family group, apparently from Israel, who used the pool without showing much consideration for other guests. They were making excessive noise, jumping into the pool, shouting, and talking loudly without respecting the comfort of others.

I understand that managing guest behavior can be difficult, but I believe the hotel has every right to politely remind guests to respect others and maintain proper pool etiquette.

3. Noise from the Room Above

There was constant stomping and heavy footsteps coming from the room above mine, continuing until late at night on both nights.

However, on the second night, I called the front desk to report the issue. The staff listened attentively, handled the situation very well, and even called back to check whether the problem had been resolved.

I would like to give special praise for this excellent problem-solving and follow-up service.

Overall Impression

Overall, the hotel is excellent. The main issues were caused by some inconsiderate guests rather than the hotel itself.

I completely understand that some aspects may need improvement, and I would definitely love to return and stay here again in the future.
