Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our room was amazing we had the honeymoon suite. Staff were lovely especially the man at the bar. Reception staff could perhaps be a bit more friendly by smiling. Pool area clean plenty of sun beds. Breakfast good with ample choice. Great location to beach and short walk to kata in evening as had more choices of bars and restaurants.
The one big thing I wasn't made aware of prior, was upon checkin they require in cash either 2000bht, $100 US or 50€ which I thought was odd being they were all very much different amounts when you factor in the conversion. Aside from this, the checkin process was fine and efficient.
The room itself was big, with a small fridge, safe (in which you had to get the key for it at the front desk. I did see that they charged 50bht a day for the key, but I wasn't charged and this may be for the safe behind reception that they charge for?). Great views from all the rooms of the pool and the sea.
Outlets beside the beds were a bit hard to get to as they were under the tables. The AC wasn't really that strong, so it didn't cool the room much at all, especially if you took your key with the power block (that you insert next to the door to get power). Lightning was also kind of dim in the room and made it hard to read anything.
The bathroom was ok, small, and in my room which I mentioned had some kind of red/brown stains on the one wall and unsure what it was, but it was never cleaned so it was kind of odd to see not knowing if it was blood, poop, both or other? Shower was good and had shampoo and conditioner there for you to use. Toilet paper can't be flushed and needs to be placed in the bin next to the toilet. I have found this kind of common in many Asian countries, so it's just something one needs to get used to, but the butt gun spray really helps keep down the use of the toilet paper for those people not experienced with that sort of thing.
The property and pool area is really nice, two pools, one with the fountain and more a lounging type pool and one that is more the main one. Very pretty area and a bar as well there for drinks.
Breakfast is a buffet with a number of items, some Thai, fried rice, lots of fruit options and some standard common things you would find anywhere in the world.
If you choose not to use the maid service everyday like I do, they will leave a bag on your door with new toilet paper, shampoo, water, tea/coffee etc. Making it nice to still be supplied without the need for them to come in and clean every day.
Languages are in Russian, English and Thai and this goes for the written information and menus as well throughout the hotel.
Right outside the property is a taxi stand and across the road is the beach. Lots of shopping and food options on the main road there on the walk to Kata Beach section and Night Market. A number of 7-11's for grocery's or a shot walk to Makro and Super Cheap for more extensive groceries if needed.
I liked the area and hotel and would opt to stay there again as the price was good and I enjoyed the proximity to a lot of things...
Rooms are very spacious and clean. It is front beach and views are very beautiful The pool is child friendly, with a level for babies. We travelled with a 5 year old and a baby, and they have all what you need. Spa is also very good, with affordable prices and good quality service.
Not bad one but only for people who like smoking and drinking… smoking is allowed on the whole territory, guests can smoke where they want… the isolation of the balcony door is very poor, so you can wake up just in smoke and feel it everywhere… drinking is not forbidden, it’s ok, but drinking in the night, making noise is allowed too…. So if you want to stay in a pub, it’s a good place for you… but if you don’t want to wake up because your neighbours are smoking and drinking and chatting on the balcony that is very close to you, choose another one… moreover hotel personal gives ashtrays and tell the guests that they are allowed to smoke where they want…
The room smelt of drain pipes the whole time, reception staff very unfriendly and unhelpful. We asked for a spray to help get rid of the smell or to change rooms and neither was provided. Location is good and rest of staff friendly .
