Phuket trip stay experience
Staff are very friendly and helpful. They first bring us to our room, and they will bring on the luggage after that. They have shuttle bus to karon beach but the last timing is only until 5pm, which was little early. I also got a complimentary pancake from the hotel on my birthday. Overall the room is good and comfortable.
Highly recommended
The 4 of us stayed there for 5 nights in total and we had 2 rooms. We found the hotel excellent in all respects. The Reception staff were friendly and highly efficient. The rooms were large, clean and had balconies with tables and chairs. 2 bottles of water were left in the rooms each day too. And there was a safe and fridge. The breakfast was ample even for vegetarians and vegans with a selection of fruit, cereals, hot meals, The Breakfast staff were great too. omelettes etc, cakes and toast. And the pool was great too with towels provided (for the beach too by the way at reception). There was even a free hourly shuttle bus to the beach and back. Note there was even a 7/11 next door.

The room (3408) is worn, damp and smells of mold. The laminate floor is warped and there is mold inside the air conditioning duct.
The gym in the hotel is quite small and the second air conditioner is out of order - hot!
The breakfast is varied and the staff is friendly.
The pool area is cozy. Paid drinks served directly to the sun loungers.
Free parking for hotel guests' rental scooters.
Great stay at Hotel IKON Phuket!
We stayed as a couple on this hotel for 14 nights and we enjoyed our stay there. There is a short walk around 100 meters from the hotel to a 7Eleven store, which was very convenient. You will also find restaurants, stores and massage studios nearby. There’s a short walk to Karon Avenue, where you can also find some restaurants and stores. It’s a very short walk to Karon Beach from the hotel, which was very great. The hotel is offering free shuttle to and from Karon Beach every hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful! :) The cleaning was great but, we could see some dust over the bed and on the chair next to the bed. Not sure if it was mold or dust on the chair. A bad smell was coming into the room from air conditioning, don’t know the reason if they were fixing the pipes or what. We can highly recommend this hotel for everyone who want’s to visit Phuket and stay at a more quiet area then Patong and Kata! :)

Disappointing Experience
My wife and I stayed at Hotel ICON Phuket from January 16–20 and were disappointed overall.
While check-in was fine and the view was decent, getting to our room required three elevators and a flight of stairs, which became a daily inconvenience. Staff service was very hit or miss. Some were helpful, others unfriendly and dismissive. We were given only one pillow per person, and even simple requests felt burdensome.
Housekeeping was unreliable. Despite leaving the cleaning sign on daily, I had to call every day to have the room cleaned and often returned to a messy room. Breakfast was very mediocre, with limited options and poor taste.
The hotel feels old and in need of renovations, including the rooms. Checkout was frustrating we were made to wait 5–10 minutes for a room inspection while our taxi waited, which felt unnecessary.
Overall, not a stay we would repeat unfortunately.
