Another one down
Pros: the location is the only selling point. It’s right across the street from the beach. The restaurant is good. Cons: There’s a sewer canal that runs along one side of the hotel and an entire wing of rooms faces the canal which gets pretty rank in the heat. The TV in the room didn’t work entire stay. I had to contact the staff every day for three days. The only channels are in Thai. The breakfast starts very late and the food is not good. The rooms are old, outdated, and not very clean. The air conditioner struggled to work. I stayed here frequently prior to Covid and nothing has changed. The focus is on the restaurant and nothing else. The staff is very friendly, but never around when needed. No one is ever at the reception. You have to find them in the restaurant if you need anything (beach towels, problems with the room, general questions). It’s overpriced and there are plenty of other options in the area. The staff are wonderful. Unfortunately, I don’t plan on coming back and would not recommend.

Such a great find
Due to husbands disability the hotel upgraded us to a room in the building above reception which has an elevator, so very grateful as he would not have made the stairs. The room was a great size, very clean and fresh with coffee and tea facilities and a great big fridge with complimentary water daily. The balcony had chair and table to sit out overlooking the pool. The bed was huge, you could easily have 3 adults in that. Shower room very good size and good pressure. The staff and management very pleasant and helpful and the daily cleaning and also beach towels very good also.

Decent place at Karon - rude staff
The place itself is pretty nice, close to the beach, and the rooms were spacious and clean (although one had a mouldy smell). What really upset us was the attitude of the staff at the breakfast. We had an early tour with the pickup at 7:30AM whereas the breakfast was only starting at 8AM. We asked for the breakfast box which were plain sandwiches, juice, and fruit. As the pickup was being delayed, our son wanted to get some breakfast from the buffet as it was almost 8AM. Some people were already out and commencing their breakfast. Once the main lady saw him open up the tray with the eggs and sausages, she literally came right to his face screaming that he already got the breakfast box.
Thankfully for her, the pickup guy arrived at that moment as we would have made the scene right there and then - this was so rude and uncalled for and it left a terrible taste in our mouths.

Nice clean hotel with great location
On the first night we actually found that 2 of the pillows had the wet smell (like it wasnt dried properly) but they had it changed very quickly. Room is otherwise good, with firm bedding. Shower water pressure is decent. Air conditioning is sufficiently cold.
Great location as it is just 5mins walk to the beach, and many decent eating places around the hotel. Many mini marts and a 7-Eleven nearby as well. The restaurant also has decent food.
No parking is available at the hotel so take note of this if you plan to rent a car. I had mine damaged while parking at the nearby public parking spot and had to pay for damages.
Overall would highly recommend this especially if you want a hotel that is walking distance to the beach. They do provide towels and kids beach toys & floats free of charge for use at the beach.

Nice size hotell with great staff, food and rooms
Amazing hotell and restaurant. We hav been all over the world and to Thailand many times and this is our absolut top hotell. The staff are the best and the hotell is so clean and well done. Not to big hotell. The food at the resturang is verry good and not to expensive. We will come back.
