The resort, which was renovated in 2007, enjoys a prime beachfront location, and offers guests classic Siamese architecture, friendly multilingual staff and spacious rooms. It is the perfect choice for your holidaymakers. It is housed in a 4-storey, classic Thai-design building and has 50 rooms in total. It is the perfect size to offer a cosy and intimate atmosphere, while still offering full amenities. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, 24-hour check-in/check-out, hotel safe, lift access, café, mini-supermarket, hairdresser's salon, bar, restaurant, room and laundry services, fax and mail service, Internet access, currency exchange facility, a jewellery shop, 24-hour security, cycle hire and parking facilities.
Each room comes with satellite TV, en suite bathroom with hot water, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, individually-adjustable air conditioning, refrigerator, minibar, coffee making facilities and a private ocean view balcony. The 36 m² superior and deluxe rooms offer the choice of twin beds or 1 king-size bed. The 72 m² Duplex room consists of 2 adjoining rooms, making it perfect for families with children of two couples travelling together. The private balcony in every room is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or the unforgettable Phuket sunset.

Great place for a great price
7.6 Very happy with our stay here, great location, great pool and room. Breakfast ok, not great for vegetarian and even worse for gluten free and vegan, so that was a bummer. Enjoyed the pool and happy hour at the pool bar, lovely deck looking out to the sea, stunning sunsets. Beds are very firm, shower ok Would stay again for the right price.

Nice basic hotel with beach views
Nice hotel close to the beach. Rooms large in size. Could do with updating the bathrooms as old and the bathroom screen very hard to move. Beds were hard. We opted for pool room and didn’t use the pool as very cold. The breakfast is basic and plenty of eatery areas and shopping close by. Staff friendly

Good receptionists!
The Baan Karonburi Resort is near Karon Beach. The room was average. The receptionists were nice and helpful. The pools were acceptable. They gave us breakfast boxes for early departure.

Great hotel🤩
Very nice hotel and great location. Room was clean and big. Very polite stuff. Breakfast was fantastic, you can watch the see when you drink your morning coffee.
Poor Service, Poor Standard, High Cost
We are a well travelled couple in our 30’s, booked the lagoon / pool access room for $850 Australian dollars, this included breakfast.
The shower was horrible, the wifi didn’t work, the rooms opposite our pool access blocked the sun most of the day. I wouldn’t stay here again. Save your money and stay elsewhere
Bad:
- wifi dropped out constantly, rarely worked and we had to physically reconnect with password every single day
- Tv did not work, no Netflix, YouTube or anything
- Lagoon access rooms were just a private small pool for 5 rooms to share
- The private pool access rooms had very high hotel rooms directly across that looked into our pool and blocked the sun
- Customer service is bad, not helpful, said they couldn’t move my booking due to a tour change, even though I wasn’t cancelling or asking for a refund. They just said no solution, too bad
- Took over 20 minutes just to check out in the heat with a driver waiting.
- I asked for ice for my water bottle and they said no
- There are about 12 Sun beds for the whole hotel
- Shower is horrible, the glass doors close with extreme bad sound
Good:
- location is great, right near so much stuff, and directly across from a beautiful golden dragon shrine and beach access
- Hotel pool is very, very small but it’s a lovely pool.
- There is a swim up bar
- Breakfast is good, great variety and good coffee machine
