What an amazing hotel this is! Went above and beyond with everything! Spotlessly clean and every member of staff so friendly and helpful a real 5 star experience
A truly unforgettable experience
The hotel certainly has the wow factor on arrival. Warm welcome and greeted with a cold towel, drink and banana sweets. Even though we arrived early our room was given to us after only a half hour wait. The room was amazing, with your every need catered for. Robes, slippers, flip flops, iron, umbrella, torch, toothbrushes, nail file, cotton buds and all toiletries in dispensers. Bottled water also provided daily and a fridge to put it in. Location is great only a 5 minute walk to Karon. Hotel grounds are stunning and well kept, swimming pool is awesome and sun beds very comfy. Breakfast buffet again amazing, so much choice and greeted with a friendly smile and great service every day from Jayant, Annie and Diamond. We ate lunch in the restaurant one day and the food and service both excellent. Had a massage at the spa and the head spa which were both fantastic. The greatest asset of the hotel is the staff they cannot do enough for you.

Amazing hotel experience
We had the most amazing experience at the Avista grand from check in to check out. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience at the hotel exceptional. Kevin and Milk checked us into the hotel, with such a friendly attitude and hospitality. Due to being Accor members we had several room up grades and placed our rooms together. Pool access was a great way to not always need to go to the main pool. The bar staff Khai and Zee at the bar when super friendly and helpful. Nothing was to hard when asked of them. I constantly needed bags of ice for my husband’s knee and khai always had a chat and was so quick to help. The service was amazing any phone call to the front desk was quickly taken and staff fixed any problems. New pillows, mattress toppers, support with aircon, quickest service I have ever had. All staff at this hotel went out of their way to connect with myself and my family, We will come back. 😊
A 16 day stay at the end of the rainy season
Just returned from a 16 day visit to said hotel. We had a great time during our stay. I know it was at the end of the rainy season but we had three showers of rain during this time hence we had plenty of pool & beach time. A big shout out to the Chard restaurant which we visited twice, a must visit. I would say a sea facing room is a must if one can afford it. As watch the sunsets with a sundowner in hand on the balcony is a fine way to end the day. Breakfast serves everything one needs to start the day. All the members of staff at breakfast are so helpful. I would say the one outstanding feature about this hotel are the staff, without doubt they go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. The hotel is located less than a five minute walk to Karon beach. I would like to mention a special thanks to Chef Shishir Nair , manager Mr Shannir and restaurant manageress Daria, all for making our stay memorable.
Would visit again without question.
