Sunprime Kamala Beach

Absolutely loved this place. Lovely staff, good value food in the restaurant, and a brilliant buffet breakfast. Best place we stayed in Thailand. The only thing I will note is that the bathroom could have been slightly cleaner, there were some hairs left behind the door from a previous guest. But other than that, great experience and we will definitely return here if we ever go back to Thailand.

Having been to Thailand many times, over the years you become blind to what is the Normal. Kamala Sunprime stands out for Brilliant Staff, quality food, cleanliness and a sense of family in a great location. The hotel needs a little updating in the rooms but everything is functional. I didn’t like the access to the hotel from the main road with no footpath, the only real option to the town being down the beach path. A great cheeky week at a good price. I would love to return again.

Sunprime Kamala Beach is the ultimate in luxury. The grounds are enormous, with four pools (two with swim up bars), balconies for every room, onsite mini-market, doctor, and gym, two restaurants, all on the beachfront. The grounds and rooms are immaculate, the rooms are huge, and the bathrooms up to the highest western standards. The staff are all incredible. They are all local to Phuket, with various levels of English, yet they are successfully communicating with visitors from over the world who also have limited English. Every visitor I saw was engaged in positive interactions with all staff - a very difficult feat in tourism. I'd also like to acknowledge Tae in the restaurant. Of his own initiative, he is learning sign language because he believes every guest should be able to communicate with the staff. The deaf guests had a brilliant time with Tae, with them all joking together every time they were together. All the restaurant staff are wonderful. They remember you, your preferences, and previous conversations. Impressive for the size of the resort. Many guests told us they are regular visitors to Sunprime Kamala Beach, and it's easy to see why. This is the place to come for the very best of relaxing holidays. I will absolutely be back!
