The Horizon bar is within the lobby of the Dusit Thani, there are always three staff on duty who are so happy and have very positive attitudes . They look out for you coming into the hotel and greet you with the biggest smile and welcome. It makes you feel happy and wanting to come over and have a drink. The service is second to none and the staff are super attentive. We have eaten here several times and found the menu to be vast but so tasty. It beats many of the meals we had outside. There is a happy hour from 7pm to 8.30pm 2 for 1 in cocktails and along side is live music every evening.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and bar as it’s 5 star throughout.
The staff are a complete asset to the hotel. Well done for that!

Already planning to return
My wife and I, retirees, recently spent 8 nights at Dusit Thani under a package deal. We stayed at the end of the monsoon season in early October. Upfront I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Dusit Thani again. We loved it. The staff. BRILLIANT. Welcoming, warm, keen to chat, remembered your room number, your preferred drinks and table locations. The rooms were good & reasonably spacious. We were on the top (3rd) floor with wonderful views through the grounds to the Andaman Sea, which you enjoy from your balcony. The breakfast buffet in the Laguna Cafe was substantial with a wide range of options. The food options for dinner were also good but do NOT miss out on having the mango with sticky rice for dessert. There are well established trees that provide really good shade for the kids playground, the pool and the loungers. The pool area is showing a bit of wear & tear and would benefit from a refresh, but it doesn’t really detract from the experience.

We had an unforgettable stay at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. The resort is right on the beachfront, offering incredible ocean views and fantastic facilities throughout the property. From the start, special thanks to Khun Monwipa for helping us with the reservation process everything went so smoothly. Upon arrival, we received such a warm and friendly welcome from Dragon at the front desk, setting the perfect tone for our trip. Our room was great, wonderfully clean, and well-kept big thanks to the housekeeping team for their hard work! We loved the delicious food at breakfast and the service staff ,We also enjoyed fantastic service a special thanks to Thiffy and Pam, Who took great care of us. Overall, top-notch service, superb views, and an amazing team.
