This was our very first holiday in Phuket, and with such an extensive selection of hotels available, choosing the right place to stay was not easy. In the end, we decided on this hotel because of its excellent reviews, attractive beachfront location and very reasonable value for money. We stayed at the hotel in June 2026 for 12 days and 11 nights. Overall, our experience was truly wonderful, and I would summarise it as follows: Location – the hotel enjoys an excellent location close to the airport and directly on the beach. Within easy walking distance, there are numerous restaurants, bars, currency exchange offices, scooter rental shops and massage salons. Conveniently, there are ATMs and a small 7-Eleven just across the road, while a larger 7-Eleven is only about a five-minute walk away. Resort grounds – the resort itself is spacious, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully arranged, offering plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for guests to relax in comfort. There are two very clean swimming pools, one of them with a pool bar, as well as two massage areas, a breakfast restaurant and a seafood restaurant. The beach is separated from the resort only by a low stone wall, which makes the whole setting feel wonderfully open and connected to the sea. Accommodation – we stayed in a third-floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool and offering a partial sea view. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It included a minibar, and drinking water was replenished daily. All essential toiletries were provided, along with a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and other thoughtful amenities. Housekeeping was excellent, and the room was immaculately cleaned every day. Dining – our stay included breakfast, which was served in a lovely restaurant right beside the beach. The selection was generous and varied, with hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk, pastries and, of course, an egg station. Although some items naturally repeated during our stay, the choice was so wide that we still did not manage to try everything. The service was warm and pleasant, and having breakfast with a sea view was a real highlight of each morning. For lunch and dinner, we chose to explore restaurants outside the resort, as we wanted to experience authentic Thai cuisine in places popular with locals. Staff – the entire team was exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful, and we genuinely felt that every guest was treated with care and appreciation. On our second-to-last day, I experienced stomach problems, and the reception staff kindly provided the necessary medicine free of charge. It helped me feel better, and I truly appreciated their thoughtful assistance. It is also worth mentioning that the hotel offers a spa, fitness centre, billiards, table tennis, a children’s play area and, in general, everything guests might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Although we visited Phuket outside the high season, we were extremely fortunate with the weather. During our entire 12-day stay, it rained only once, and even then only for about four hours. In conclusion, we would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel team for making our holiday so memorable and enjoyable. If we ever return to Phuket, we would not hesitate to stay again at the Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa.

Nicely situated hotel north of Phuket.
The final hotel on our holiday, we were initially given a top floor room with a partial beach view and pool view which was fine - however I am still recovering from an ankle injury so the following day we were able to move to a ground floor room which massively helped. The receptionist who arranged this was so helpful and this change took the stress out of having to use the stairs and my son loved being able to sit on the little patio while I had a swim.
Breakfast was included and had a decent selection of foods and can either sit inside or outside, great views from the restaurant. We also ate in the other restaurant on our final evening which we enjoyed.
We didn't use the spa but the prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly but there wasn't any hard selling from the staff to book a treatment.
We did book an afternoon trip to Phuket via the hotel excursion desk which was well organised. We went with another English speaking family so just 6 of us on the trip and we all seemed to enjoy it. The night market in Phuket is worth a visit as the street entertainment is pretty good and lots of shopping choices.
All in all, my son and I had a lovely few days at this hotel, its in a good position on the beach and the staff are very helpful. Shout out to Golf who carried our cases up to the top floor but then benefitted from only having to take them to reception from a ground floor room when we left - thanks Golf for your help!
Great place to stay
Good time for all Having been at this hotel before there was only one thing we would change and that's our departure date. Hotel,staff and room could not fault anything.We stayed in a deluxe ground flat, new fridge,king size bed and a fantastic shower

Fantastic hotel
EDWARD ANDREWS the location is superb right on the beach plenty ofgood restaurants and shops within walking distance would strongly recomend this hotel Have holidayed in thailand for over 20 years and can honestly say the staff in this hotel are the warmest and most helpful always got smile and assist you in any way every member of staff are a credit to your company but just to name a few GULF BOOM DES HUI FRONT OF HOUSE POOL BAR GUITAR JOY AND TONG ALWAYS SMILING Already decided to come back in 2 months cant wait my whole family will be back next thanks
