A Dream Beachfront Escape
The Vibe: Modern, breezy, and relaxed. It has an open, unfussy layout that feels incredibly welcoming rather than overcrowded.
Key Highlights:
Direct Beach Access: You step right out onto the soft sands of Bang Tao Beach—no need to cross busy roads.
Fantastic Pools: Multiple expansive, sparkling swimming pools wind through beautifully landscaped grounds.
Dining Highlights: Features excellent on-site dining, including Isla (all-day beachfront dining) and the vibrant Nora Beach Club for Mediterranean-inspired food and sunset drinks.
SICK
Unfortunately, our stay at Amora was completely overshadowed by the fact that we — along with several other guests we spoke to — became very sick. Our package included drinks, but after just one drink on the first night we fell extremely ill. We had severe headaches, stomach cramps, and I ended up sleeping for 36 hours.
We informed the hotel at the time that we were sick, but when we mentioned that other guests had experienced the same symptoms, we were told that because their doctor hadn’t examined us, there was “no proof” it was caused by the hotel. The illness itself was bad enough, but the hotel’s response made the situation even more disappointing.
The combination of the poisoning and the lack of accountability from Amora completely ruined our stay. I would strongly recommend choosing alternative accommodation.

Relaxing stay at beach resort
We had a great stay at Amora Beach Resort. It has great rooms with pool views and relaxing beach to get away from the busy city life. Receptionist Milk was very helpful in settling us down and suggesting sites and places to view and making bookings for us. Resort also has its own activities catered for kids and adults. Has a great swimming pool for kids and adults and kids room filled with activities for kids of all ages. All staff were very polite and friendly. A great variety of food for breakfast at ISLA restaurant. They even catered to our special request of vegetarian food daily. A great place to stay for families to relax and recharge.
Hospitality and great environment
The hotel environment is great and very peaceful. Great place to stay with easy beach access and a lifeguard on duty. Though I must compliment the front desk. Special thanks to both Aisyah and Wa for their outstanding hospitality. They were both incredibly helpful and very friendly.

Outstanding Resort and a Professional Team.
We were visiting Phuket as a part of an International Cricket Competition. With over 100 rooms booked the Amora Beach Resort handled this booking in its stride.
The rooms are very well presented with close access to one of two large swimming pools. The second pool had some children’s activities and was well used. The pool bar services were excellent.
Amora Beach Resort has an excellent international menu which was enjoyed by all.
The Nora Beach Club, literally on the Beach, had an excellent open air bar which protect us from both the sun and Monsoon rain. It also had indoor dining when the temperature was too warm. The food and drink menus were also excellent an DD catered for all tastes.
There was also a lounge bar which served drinks and coffee. We were able to watch FIFA world cub football matches.
We held two major buffet dinner functions with over 200 people in attendance each time. The food once again was diverse and excellent. The staff was excellent. From the front desk team to the behind the scenes teams, they were professional, knowledgeable courteous and very friendly. They were there to work with us. Any request was met with a smile and “can do attitude”.
Congratulations to Resort Manger team Phillip and to events manger Pam on an outstanding venue. Well done to all the team at Amora Beach Resort, Phuket. A
