Stunning setting, exceptional service, and unforgettable food
What a wonderful stay. The Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra gets so much right, starting with its location — peaceful and beautifully tucked away, yet easy to head out and explore from. The resort itself is gorgeously built, with grounds that make you want to slow right down and wander. The lobby is genuinely stunning, one of those spaces that sets the tone the moment you walk in. As Platinum members we made full use of the lounge, and it more than delivered — a lovely setting with a generous spread throughout the day. The rooms are showing their age just a touch, but they're comfortable, spacious, and very well kept — no complaints from us at all. What we'll remember most, though, is the food and the people behind it. The kitchen team, and especially Ankit and Manbir, took extraordinary care of us. As a vegetarian family we're used to making do when we travel — here we didn't have to for a second. The Indian food was out of this world: the dal makhani, the paneer, the fresh roti, honestly some of the best we've had anywhere, the kind that could give the top Mughlai restaurants a serious run for their money. Thank you to Ankit, Manbir, and the whole team for making our stay so special. We'll be back.

🌴 Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort – Memorable Stay
My recent stay at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort was truly memorable. Located just 30 minutes from Ao Nang, the property offers a serene escape with its lush surroundings and elegant design. Room Upgrade: As an Accor Gold Member, I was delighted to be upgraded to a Junior Suite. The room was beautifully decorated, and I extend special thanks to Thalia & Team for the thoughtful arrangements. Warm Interactions: I had engaging conversations with Mr. John, the new Hotel Manager, who shared insightful tips on enhancing the guest experience, and with Mr. Christopher, Director of F&B, whose passion for hospitality was evident. Club Millésime: Breakfast at Club Millésime was a refined experience, with attentive service from Pepsi making it even more enjoyable. Dining Delight: Dinner at White Lotus was a highlight. The table setup was elegant, and the mutton biriyani prepared by Chef Ankit & Team (Sao, Lita & Som) was exceptional. Evening Entertainment: The Explorer Bar came alive with musical performances, adding charm to the evenings. Missed Experience: My only regret was the rain, which kept me from enjoying the resort’s swimming pool – the largest in Thailand – during my two-night stay. ✨ Overall Impression Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra is a wonderful property that blends luxury with warmth. Despite the weather, the hospitality, culinary experiences, and personal touches made it a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. I look forward to returning, hopefully with sunshine to enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces.
Perfect for Families
We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Krabi and would happily return. The resort is fantastic for families, with the giant pool inflatable being a huge hit with our kids. The Kids Club offered great daily activities, and the daily ice cream was a highlight!
A special thank you to Prayer from the Kids Club, who was so warm, engaging and wonderful with the children. We also loved learning paddle from Con Wee on the activities team, such a fun activity for adults. My only suggestion would be to make the paddle court hire a little more affordable, as we’d have loved to play more often.
We stayed in a Club Room, and the Club Millésime experience was excellent. Pepsi made us feel so welcome every visit, and Josh was consistently professional and attentive, whether serving us in the club lounge or in the restaurant.
It was also lovely that the new Hotel Manager, Grant, took the time to introduce himself and chat with guests, it really shows a commitment to the guest experience.
Finally, a big thank you to the housekeeping team. Their work often goes unnoticed, but they kept our room spotless every day and contributed greatly to a relaxing, comfortable stay.
Overall, an exceptional family holiday with genuinely caring staff who made all the difference.
Kids club Sofitel
We recently visited Sofitel Krabi Resort for a short vacation from Phuket, and it truly felt like a relaxing getaway thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the entire team.
What touched me the most was the amazing Kids Club. They have a fantastic range of activities for children of all ages, and my daughter, Sam, absolutely loved every moment. The staff were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. They even helped her get changed for swimming, which meant I could truly relax in our room without worrying. As a parent, that level of care meant so much.
Even though the main kids’ play area was under renovation, the resort thoughtfully offered complimentary ice cream, which completely won Sam’s heart! ❤️
A special thank you to Anifield and Prea for all the love, kindness, and care you showed Sam throughout our stay. She was genuinely sad to leave you both and is already asking when we can come back.

Family stay
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sofitel Krabi, and one of the highlights of our visit was breakfast each morning at Maya Restaurant. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Ankit, Chef Mahabri and Chef Pom for their incredible hospitality, warmth and genuine care. They made every breakfast a memorable experience. The Indian breakfast was exceptional, with an impressive variety of authentic dishes. We especially loved the freshly made aloo paratha, idli with sambar, traditional kachori served with aloo sabzi and kadhi, and the delicious masala chai. The authentic Rajasthani specialties were a wonderful touch and made us feel right at home. Maya Restaurant also offers an outstanding breakfast buffet with an extensive selection of international cuisine, fresh tropical fruits, made-to-order favourites, and an exceptional range of pastries and baked goods. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and of the highest quality to start each morning perfectly!
