Lovely holiday
We stayed her the last two weeks of September and it is one of the nicest hotels we have visited. The rooms are large and the level of cleanliness is very high. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. It is located centrally so within easy walking distance of shops reataurants and night market. The staff are very friendly and attentive which brings me to highly praise Bim and the lovely lady from the spa for their help and concern when I had a fall. Will definately be on the revist list.

What a Paradise – La Playa Is a True Gem!
What a paradise this place is! La Playa may not be the newest hotel in town, with all those crazy, bloody prices, but it offers something far more valuable: spacious, comfortable rooms, wonderful pool-access rooms, an amazing breakfast, and delicious Thai cuisine.
But what I love most is the genuine warmth and smiles of the staff, from the management right down to every team member. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. No forced smiles, no fake hospitality – just real, heartfelt Thai friendliness.
La Playa is truly a hidden gem. This is what Thailand should stand for: genuine hospitality, warm smiles, great food, and making guests feel truly welcome.
Keep your fancy, overpriced hotels. I'll take genuine Thai hospitality any day! 🇹🇭❤️

Before leaving the UK for our long-awaited honeymoon, one thing we really wanted was a small-group island tour around Krabi, away from the crowds.
Unfortunately, our pre-booked excursion was cancelled twice (through no fault of the original provider, who refunded us straight away), leaving us with just one full day before moving on.
Friends who'd stayed at Krabi La Playa Resort previously suggested speaking to the hotel's tour desk, and that's where we met Wan – the absolute legend! 🌟😂
Within minutes, she was on the phone making calls and somehow managed to arrange something even better than we'd originally booked!
🚤 A completely private traditional boat tour, just for the two of us, with our own dedicated crew, a departure time of our choosing, and a boat decorated for our honeymoon!
🏝️ We explored stunning islands, snorkelled at different spots and cleverly avoided the main tourist hotspots, which were absolutely rammed, finding quieter, more secluded places to enjoy at our own pace. They even arranged a private beach picnic! ❤️
And the best bit? It cost around two-thirds of what we'd originally paid for a group tour! 😲
The crew from Srirak Tour were absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to make the day special. They even let me steer the boat for a while, so I'm now considering a career change to captain's mate! 😂⚓
A massive shout-out to Wan, Krabi La Playa Resort and the brilliant Srirak Tour team. You turned what could have been a disappointing end to our stay into one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon.

If you're ever visiting Krabi and want a great deal, fantastic prices and, most importantly, that genuine personal, face-to-face service that's so often missing nowadays, head to Krabi La Playa and ask for Wan! 🌴👏

Short break in Ao nang.
Absolute gem of a hotel, it’s located down a quiet side street. Lovely gardens and pool. The staff were fantastic especially Eathan who kept drinks flowing around the pool. The spa was excellent with great staff. Would definitely recommend and return.
