A Wonderful Time of Celebration
This is a beautiful resort superbly located on the beach in a delightful part of Ao Nang. We are a family of fifteen celebrating a Golden Wedding Anniversary and the hotel has given us such wonderful memories to take home. Each of our rooms are so nice, spacious, large very comfortable beds, contemporary styled furniture and decoration, modern bathrooms, furnished balcony, all impeccably clean and well maintained. Breakfast is a really pleasant experience, varied choices of Thai and Western high quality food and drinks served in the appealing dining room, indoor and outside by the pool Each member of staff has added extra value to our stay by their courtesy, helpfulness and efficiency. The Kids Club has kept our grandchildren entertained and given their parents some precious time alone. The two swimming pools are great, one with slides and one overlooking the ocean. The catering department arranged the most magnificent Anniversary Dinner on the beach and we are very grateful for a wonderful all-round holiday experience at Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort and Soa.

Avoid this hotel
Got put into cheaper room that I didn't book Reception was awful and was no help Then to round it off got clothes stolen from our room. Which they said never happened The lad cleaning room who had spoken to us in English before now claimed he couldn't understand us.
Did not get the rooms we booked.
We just checked in today. The hotel is nicely located in the middle of the town. Parking is convenient and the Thai staff ( as always ) are friendly and nice. Regardless, it is quite disappointing about the reservation. We reserved 2 rooms. One for a couple who are family members. And another one for us which includes my husband, my adult daughter and me. Earlier in the morning, we called the hotel to confirm our arrival time and asked for their help to set up the third bed in one of the rooms which we paid extra for that. We told them that we would be arriving late (6-7 pm). When we checked in, the reception team was very sweet and nice. Right away, we were presented with room upgrades. We did acquire if they sold our rooms and they just smiled. They confirmed that the rooms are bigger than what we booked. When we saw the room, we found that one of the rooms is smaller in size than the room we booked ( but of course room price is higher as it is for a family of 4 ). While the other room has 4 beds with bunk beds and this is a room for 2 people. The floor is also for family travelers so we can hear kids crying and screaming. We called the FD to ask if we can have our rooms that we booked instead. As we expected, our rooms were sold to other guests. We actually booked the rooms directly with the hotel website and we are also Centara member. One of the rooms was also decorated with Happy Birthday decor with a cake :).Truthfully, we have a feeling that service here will not disappoint us. Regardless, we are pretty unhappy with the reservation team who did not respect our reservation and pretty unorganized with the operation. If we come back, we will definitely call 3-4 times in advance to confirm our room reservation. Just to be fair, the room is nice for a family of 4 with young kids though.
