The most magical holiday
This was a great holiday right from the start with a warm welcome from Joy on reception The hotel and location is perfect and really is quite special. It is ideal for those that want to get away from it all the hustle and bustle. The restaurant is great, fab vista overlooking the sandy beach, the food is exceptional, but there are another couple of restaurants within a short walk along the beach, if you want a change of scenery for dinner, but we mainly ate at The Sunset Beach as the food was sooo yummy. We stayed in the Beach Villa, which is just stunning with wonderful views and sensational sunsets. It beautifully decorated and is big inside and out, having our own plunge pool was pretty cool too. I want to say that every single member of staff is out of this World, without a doubt, one of the best hotels for excellent service that I have probably ever stayed at. Nothing was too much trouble, each and every person went out of their way, smiling always. We celebrated a birthday out there and Jayson and Theearapon ensured that it was extra special and set everything out on the beach, it was just perfect. The coffees in the morning, often made by Pohn, were a great way to start the day too. Oh, a mention too for a thai massage lady called Noi, who is just up the beach. With 34 years experience in thai massage, is definitely worth a visit I very seldom write a review, but I wanted to share just how much we enjoyed our stay there. Thanks to everyone at Sunset Beach, sorry, if I haven't mentioned everyone by name, but the entire team are just fab, hope to see you again soon.

Outstanding stay
And again I experienced a wonderful stay at the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa on Koh Samui. An incredibly beautiful facility. I was able to book a Front Beach Pool Villa which was very luxuriously equipped (with private pool, covered lounge, 2 sun loungers with umbrella a table with 4 chairs. And the highlight was the outdoor rain shower. A great experience. I was warmly welcomed by Joy. But also the other employees, unfortunately I still remember the name of Jason, who already looked after me wonderfully last year. But also the other gentleman, whose name I unfortunately no longer remember, took great care of my well-being. I had a great time again. The food in the hotel-restaurant Ananas was also exceptionally good again. As always, the Thai curry tasted excellent. Then a dinner was organized for me on the beach in the sand. What an experience. A table for myself alone and decorated with candles. I have recovered fantastically. And I have already reserved again for next year. Thank you very much for another great stay. Rolf H
Like a family
Just had our second stay at Sunset Beach. We returned after the most wonderful stay last year, and this year did not disappoint. Joy in particular makes the stay so enjoyable. She organises anything and everything, she and her team are so friendly and kind, they are like a family that welcome you in. The beach is stunning and the resort itself is beautiful. They are int he middle of a refurb but we didn't mind. We loved it jsut as much and will be going back next year.
Taplin getaway.
What an incredible place this is. Nestled in the hills, over looking the sea, sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Lovely swimming pool areas, superb Club Lounge where we were warmly looked after by Lisa and Som-o who were truly amazing. Restaurants were great and what views to enjoy your evening drinks.
