- Royal Beach Boutique Resort and Spa

This beach resort offers an exclusive location, between Lamai Beach and Hua Thanon, and just 500 m to the Hin Ta and Hin Yai, a well know tourist attraction. It is just 5 min from the colourful Lamai Beach. The beach at Mango Village looks like a private beach with sunshades, sun beds and a gazebo available. This hotel features all the comforts guests need to enjoy their relaxation There are available Beachfront Rooms, Garden Bungalows and Family Rooms. All accommodations are fully equipped with standard amenities that guests need during the stay. The hotel also features a restaurant where guests can enjoy traditional Thai Cuisine and authentic Italian dishes.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing hotel with pool, no night life bar closed at 9.30. The staff are amazing can't do enough for you. If you have any problems climbing stairs this is not the hotel for you the beautiful private beach has to many stairs to access. Needs bar staff on both levels
After spending 14 days here It provides a relaxing experience staff very attentive and friendly I feel the hotel could provide a shuttle bus to lamai 3 times a day 100 bht per person return?? This is a opportunity for the hotel to gain income rather than give it to tuk tuk drivers And waiting on the busy road for one to arrive Overall a pleasant experience and would return in the future Could not fault the cleaning of the room But little to do in the evening but to venture to lamai Please beware there is many steps to the beach so soaking up the sun at the pool is great Well done to all staff in the royal beach and hope to see you all afain in December Mike lynne
A Perfect Stay in Lamai
We stayed in the two-bedroom suite with a private pool, and it was absolutely amazing – the best room we've ever had. The suite was immaculate, well-maintained, spacious, and incredibly relaxing. It featured two large bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. One bedroom had a double bed, while the other had three single beds. The room was serviced daily by the attentive staff.
Our other family members and friends with children ranging from 6mths to 11 years old, who stayed at the resort, booked the one-bedroom pool villa and the two-bedroom apartments with a sea view. They were equally delighted with their accommodations.
The suite included an outside seating area with a table and chairs, conveniently shaded to provide relief from the hot sun. The highlight was the balcony, complete with a private pool, three sun loungers, and a stunning full beach and sea view. The pool was cleaned every morning, ensuring a perfect start to each day.
The food at the resort was excellent. The buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant also offered freshly cooked breakfast options alongside the buffet. They served lunch and dinner, with the option for room delivery, which was a great convenience.
Happy hour, from 4-6pm daily, was a delight at both the pool bar and the beach bar. The staff were wonderful, catering to our every need in a professional, friendly, and caring manner. They provided fresh pool and beach towels every day, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.
The resort also offered airport transfers and had a vehicle available for taxi services to other destinations at reasonable prices. We took advantage of the laundry services and were very happy with the quick turnaround – our laundry was returned fresh and neatly folded.
The pool is perfect for adults & children. It is kept very well and clean. We spent many happy hours at the pool with family & friends.
The beach is beautiful but not very good for swimming at low tide as there are a lot of rocks. However there are other beaches for swimming within walking distance.
The resort has many restaurants and shops within walking distance and is a 5 min dive to the center of Lamai and to the main beach. However there is a beach at the resort and you can walk to the start of Lamai beach within 15-20mins.
If you're visiting Lamai, I highly recommend this resort. It’s a hidden gem. Our family of four (with two boys aged 13 and 15) had the best holiday here. We were very sad to leave and hope to visit again in the future. I cannot recommend it enough!
This is a great place to stay whilst in Lamai beach and could easily gain 5/5 from me if a few tweaks were made.
-Conditioner would be good in the bathroom
Now the rest of the resort was really fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough for a reasonably priced stay.
-the pool area is lovely, great swim up bar & happy hour -nice arrival touch with the ice cream! -the staff were incredible and great fun -the free shuttle service to the airport was brilliant and included a breakfast box for the journey -the food in the restaurant was the best we have had in hotels in Koh Samui
In general the resort is very nice. Great breakfast and food, nice staff and a prestine pool. Rooms are spacious, and aircon not to noisy. The beach chairs at the pool are not very comfortable, and the beach is not very useful for swimming. Beware! On Saturday they give access to non residing families. So Saturday was a whole day of many drinking parents with 12-15 screaming kids by the pool. They should definitely stop giving access to people that do not reside at the resort, as this is supposed to be a boutique hotel, and not a water park.
