Rocky's Boutique Resort is a private and secluded boutique Samui resort. Our luxurious accommodation features 47 Samui bungalows and 3 Samui villas with private pools. The resort is situated on the beach, with unparalleled views of the Gulf of Thailand, and only a short walk to downtown Lamai. Long tailed fishing boats can be seen daily as they depart or return home with their catch. Here is the ideal place to relax and feel free to enjoy the natural beauty of this amazing samui resort with accommodation facilities that will make your holiday a memorable one.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Rocky for 2 weeks as a family of five - mam, dad, nana and two teenage girls aged 14 years and 16 years. What a fantastic time we had. The staff were so warm and welcoming they became like our family for the two weeks. Nothing was a bother and they went out of their way to make our holiday special. The hotel had two beautiful pools, rooms were cleaned daily and was on a beautiful beach. The food was out of this world with freshly prepared meals to satisfy everyone’s taste. The hotel provided complimentary kayaks which we used regularly. The hotel hosted special events each evening and added special touches - coming round with ice water, fruit skewers daily and treats on an evening.
Although in a quiet area of Lamia it was an oasis of luxury. Complimentary buses were provided to both Lamia and Chewing daily if guests wanted a busy environment.
As a family we also booked in the hotels cookery course which was wonderful and so much fun. The chef provided friendly instruction on a three course meal which was superb.
We must compliment all the staff from the reception, food and beverage to hotel maintenance and gardeners on their hard work and constant attention to detail ensuring all guest have the best holiday possible. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and helping us make great memories.
Beautiful location, neatly tended gardens, lush vegetation, cute bungalows, great pools. Pristine beaches - at least during high tide. During low tide swimming is practically impossible. Had a spacious bungalow “fronte mare” with refreshing plunge pool. Loved the big window seats during rain. Helpful and very friendly staff. Great breakfast, loved the French toast in particular. Tasty cocktails- good deal during happy hour. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. And the massages: much appreciated release of tension in a mountain runner’s legs. So professionally and expertly done! Great hideaway for a few days and lets you forget the craziness of mass tourism that is going on outside!
This hotel was excellent. The location was good, the food was amazing and the staff were wonderful lead by a true leader in Ariane. everyone should stay at this hotel at least once to see for yourself. The staff could not do enough for us, they were amazing.
What a gorgeous place! Beautiful location away from the busyness of Lamai. Feels like a total oasis. We had a family room with pool access which was fabulous! All staff are so friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast lovely too. Great stay
We spent 12 nights at Rocky’s in July and had a great time there. It’s quite small compared to some resorts we’ve been to but is a lovely place. The accommodation is really excellent, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, with a really big TV with local TV, Netflix and Amazon. The resort has two pools, one amongst all the accommodation and another that overlooks the sea with great views. The pool water was warm even at 8am. Food was excellent, with Thai and European menus and we didn’t get bored of the options over 12 nights. All of the staff were so friendly. We used the spa for a massage and that was about £25 for a great 60 min massage so much cheaper than European spas. One thing to bear in mind is that everthing in the resort pretty much shuts by about 10.30pm so there’s not really anything to do after that time. So if you do fancy a few late beers it’s probably a 5 min cab to Lamai where bars open late. Cabs are so cheap on Samui. The upside to this is there is no late night noise like you get on some resorts. Also worth saying we went in the rainy season and the weather was great, you get the odd torrential downpour but they come and go pretty quick. Overall if you want a chilled holiday it’s really hard to fault Rocky’s. Accommodation and pools are lovely, food was great and staff were so friendly. We really loved it there.
