Holiday of a lifetime
Me and my family had a great time at royal muang villas. It was definitely the chill part of our holiday having been to Bangkok and Chiang Mai first.
The room was big enough for four of us and had a decent sized private pool which was nicely shaded.
The hotel is really well located having the beach just 2 minute walk from our room and the main pool being on the way - plenty of options for keeping cool.
There are lots of good food options along the beachfront, Pi being particularly good.
The hotel breakfast is pretty good with a range of thai foods available as well as some European options.
The pool was the best out of the holiday and we really enjoyed going to the beach and going in the sea, playing in the sand and of corse tanning so thank you for giving us a holiday of a lifetime!❤️
Amazing hotel in paradise
We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights after visiting Bangkok and Chiang Mai, for the relaxing leg of our Thailand holiday. We had a two bedroom garden view suite with a private pool on the second floor and everything about it was incredible. If your budget allows, I would wholeheartedly recommend you book this style room. The private pool is a decent size and not just a paddling pool! Ample towels, toiletries and loan of a lovely beach bag all on offer ( available to buy from reception which I did!). The grounds are well maintained, very lush and green. The breakfast choices and quality of what is on offer are fantastic. The area where the food is can get a little congested during busy times. Staff so kind and helpful. Lots of dining and massage options along the beach front and on the main road outside the hotel with a 7-Eleven across the road. We only ate in the hotel once, we had lunch on the day we arrived for sheer convenience and it was nice but expensive. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the gym - it is not very good, small, with old equipment and the air con doesn’t work properly. However, there is a brand new and huge gym being installed in the basement of reception next to the shower room which we found on the day of our departure, I wonder if this is going to be for resident and non resident use? It did look nearly finished. Overall a fantastic stay and I would return in a heartbeat.

Fabulous Beachfront Location and the Best Massage Ever!
We had a wonderful stay at Royal Muang Samui Villas. Our room was absolutely huge, beautifully presented and very comfortable. The floor was a little slippery, so some extra care was needed, but overall the room was fantastic.
The location is fabulous, right on the beautiful beach and within easy reach of everything. The restaurant and bar staff were amazing—so warm, friendly and attentive. We loved relaxing with great cocktails on the beach, and the Pad Thai was the best we had!
A special mention must go to the day spa, where we had genuinely one of the best massages ever. It was an absolute highlight of our stay. A beautiful resort with wonderful staff, a brilliant location and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Exceptional Resort & Wonderful Staff
Amazing resort near Choeng Mon in Koh Samui! We stayed in a beautiful room with a private pool, and everything was absolutely perfect, with impeccable attention to every detail.
The resort also offers an amazing Spa near the main pool, with exceptional therapists and wonderful treatments.
The restaurant and beach bar are both fantastic, with a great selection of delicious Thai and international dishes.
All the staff are amazing! Always so kind, friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to the lovely and adorable Lay, who made our stay even more special!
We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!
Calm, Comfortable and Genuinely Easy to Stay At
Royal Muang Samui Villas is the sort of resort that makes more sense after spending time there than it does in a five-minute hotel tour.
What stood out to me was the calm atmosphere. The tropical gardens, quiet pathways, pool area and Choeng Mon Beach all give the resort a noticeably slower pace than the busier parts of Koh Samui. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the overall environment made it easy to relax.
Service was another strong point. One small but memorable interaction at the pool showed the kind of proactive hospitality I value — staff noticing what was needed without turning simple service into a process.
Breakfast also worked well during my stay, with a live egg station and food being prepared in front of guests rather than everything simply sitting on a buffet.
I did not test every room category, facility or service, so I would not pretend one stay proves consistency across the whole property. But based on what I experienced, Royal Muang Samui Villas delivers particularly well on atmosphere, comfort, location and day-to-day hospitality.
