Vana Belle Koh Samui

Spent 5 wonderful nights there with my best friend. The service is personalized with thoughtful touches. Of our 3 week vacation, the Vana Belle was the highlight of the hotels we stayed at. For reference, we stayed at all 5-star properties and they blew the others out of the water. We met Eye, our host at check-in. She made sure everything ran smoothly for us throughout our stay. She was helpful with restaurant recommendations, reservations, car services and was able to answer any other questions we had.

The room was spacious, private and came with a private pool that was kept clean and the perfect temperature. The outdoor space was comfortable with 2 lounge chairs and a nice couch.

Housekeeping also deserves massive recognition. Again with the personal touches and we didn't have to call once to ask for anything else. We enjoyed the nightly treats. At turndown service they light mosquito coils and we didn't get a single bite while enjoying our private outdoor space.

Breakfast: choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Indoor is air conditioned, not just fans. There is nice variety of international selections. Very attentive team who remembered our room number and coffee orders every day. Ask for a mango or the local fruit in season.

Pool and Beach: One of the best beaches I've been to. Calm, clear with several shades of blue. Whether you're by the pool or on the beach, they immediately bring you water and keep it coming to keep you hydrated and cool. They keep sun cream and aloe by the pool and beach for guest use. Each set of tables has a button so if you need anything, you can hit the button and someone will come attend to you. We had lunch by the pool a couple of times. The menu had a great mix of choices.

Spa: Mai and Apple were our therapists and they were lovely. You can tell that they both have kind souls. We had several treatments with them and I can't pick a favorite. I will recommend trying the sound bath with a relaxation massage to start. Of all of the different massage services I had in Thailand, I enjoyed the Vana Belle spa the most with Mai and Apple.

Everyone was so polite, the buggy drivers, the car drivers, the SPA team, concierge, the food and beverage team and everyone else we interacted with at the Vana Belle.

We ran into a family while staying at ANOTHER hotel who was unhappy with their stay at the other well known hotel and they ended up moving to the Vana Belle and were much happier.

The Vana Belle ranks in my top 5 hotels in the world.

We had an amazing stay, and what made it truly unforgettable was the incredible hospitality from every member of the team. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, but it was truly the people who made us feel at home. 💛

Our deepest thanks go to our butler, Maomi (from Thailand), who took care of every detail throughout our stay. She was always attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. No matter what we needed, she was always there with a smile and made everything effortless. 🌿

Alice (from Italy) was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Since I’m currently learning Italian, it was such a pleasure to chat with her in Italian. On our last day, she even prepared a small dessert for us as a sweet farewell surprise, which made the moment even more memorable. 🥰

Zidan (from the Maldives) was always cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. His positive energy made every visit to the restaurant enjoyable, and we always looked forward to seeing him. ✨

A very special thank you to Gift (from Thailand), who was our dedicated server during our romantic beach dinner. She took wonderful care of us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail. She made the entire experience feel intimate, relaxing, and truly unforgettable. 🌙

I’d also like to thank Boss (from Thailand), my private Pilates instructor. The session was one of the highlights of my stay. He was patient, professional, encouraging, and adapted the class perfectly to my level. I left feeling refreshed, stronger, and full of positive energy. 🧘‍♀️

Every interaction felt sincere rather than scripted. From breakfast conversations to our romantic beach dinner and every thoughtful gesture throughout our stay, everyone made us feel like valued guests instead of just another room number.

We had an amazing family holiday at the Vana Belle. Beautiful beach, pool and other facilities. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our butler, Naomi, was warm, welcoming, highly attentive and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a credit to the organisation and typified the level of attention to detail afforded to us during our stay from all the staff. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Vana Belle and look forward to visiting again in the future.
