Holiday in Koh Samui
Location is perfect close enough to walk to the action, but far enough away to get a good night's sleep. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, beds are the same, I had to call room service to get my wife's attention. Staff are the friendlest, special shout out to Authur and Gift. This has been my 3rd stay and I will be back 👍🙏
Excellent Samui Stay
Wow, another fantastic trip to the dara Samui Beach Resort. This is our third stay here and it never disappoints! It is ideally located, close enough to the action of Chaweng but with a more chilled relaxed vibe. Thank you to Arthur and Gift on reception for their excellent service and to all of the staff who have all made the stay memorable.
Absolutely amazing
This hotel is one of our favourites. We will go to Ko Samui again and when we do this is the only hotel we will stay at. From check in it was amazing. Had refresments waiting for us. Had us dit down while they checked us in. Then showed us to room an gave us all information we needed. Rooms were really lovely with a balcony overlooking green trees and calm. Even saw little squirrel. The whole area in the hotel so lovely. Such a nice romantic tropical feel. So much characther. The pool area nice with pool bsr with food and drinks that is reasonably priced so you dont need to rush out for anything. With happy hour also. Staff are amazing. I cant think of a single one who werent. We also had massages on the beach just nxt too hotel pool. Easy enough. Walked on the beach to see other hotels and had a dtink or 2 on the beach. Breakfast was good. There was something for everyone. Our favourite was the omelletes but seen him make eggs bennedict for someone and thst looks really tasty. Loved the idea of the egg station. The cocktails at the pool was made with so much love and effort also. So pleased this was adult only because it was do relaxing and enjoyable. Theres a romantic dinner setting at nite on the beach also. You can feed fish as you walk through hotel. I dont want to miss anything out because this hotel deserves so much recognition.

Wonderful memories, filled with smiles.
We love the traditional Lana style of the hotel, when you wake up you know you are in Thailand. The rooms are kept very clean with lots of caring touches such as fantastic decorations for anniversaries and welcoming with towel animals and my favourite Thai flowers. The pool is kept spotless and the stunning trees and plants all round the hotel with the beautiful Koi carp ponds are so beautifully Thai. The position on a quieter section of Chaweng beach but only 150 meters from all the bars, shops, restaurants and little markets is perfect.
Once again Dara your customer service was excellent. From the front desk to the food and beverage staff every single person could not do enough for us. They remember your names from day one, your drinks and breakfast preferences, all with a wonderful smile. We were treated like special members of the family come to visit. It is also very peaceful due to the no children rule which for people with grown or no children is very much appreciated. The Dara Serene beach restaurant is so romantic and the food is excellent. The lobster bisque, the flaming huge prawns and the lamb massaman were exceptional. This is a Thai family owned and run beachside hotel with the most amazing staff. We can’t wait to come back.
