Is a very good hotel i always come back, Mook and Pam are so super funny and i will definitely come back
Ok Basic Budget Traveler Backbackers hotel. I stayed here with my family for a couple of nights in July because our other hotel wasn’t available. It’s a very basic standard room, clean-ish, although I found a toenail in my bed and hairs in the bathroom. Good location for shops and restaurants. Would recommend for families or couple unless you are backpackers looking for standard level accommodation.
The Worst Reception Experience I've Ever Had
We checked in for one night and asked whether our room would be available if we decided to extend our stay by another night. The receptionist told us that the same room was available, so we said we would confirm later once we had made a decision.
About 15-20 minutes later, we called reception to book the extra night, but the same receptionist suddenly told us the room was no longer available. We were confused but accepted it and said, "Never mind."
Less than five minutes later, we received a message via Line saying that the room was available for another night and that we could transfer the payment if we wanted to book it. We called reception again to confirm whether the room was actually available. The same receptionist then replied, "Yes, you can have it. Would you like to book it?" (In Thai, she said, "ก็ให้ได้ค่ะ จะเอาไหมคะ") in an unfriendly tone.
The inconsistent information was frustrating enough, but the receptionist's attitude and the way she spoke to us were very unprofessional. Because of this poor customer service, we were extremely disappointed and decided not to extend our stay.
The management team should take this matter seriously.
We checked in on the evening of 13th July, we hope this information helps identify the receptionist who assisted us. Her handling of the situation and the way she spoke to us fell well below the standard of customer service we expected.
