Awful experience in this hotel
We came to this hotel with another family reserved 4 rooms. Although we understood that there were some construction near the hotel we were amazed by the amount of noise and mass around. Right at check in we are told that our rooms are overbooked and we will be upgraded, but guess what? We’ve been “upgraded” to the rooms exactly next to the road were drillers and baggers worked all day up to 10 PM. But the worst was still to come: 30 minutes after check in we went to the pool. All of a sudden I heard my son screaming. His leg collapsed into the deck up to his knee. We needed to other guys to pull his leg and off and luckily it ended up with browses. All of our trials to talk with the manager failed. They just ignored us for until we left this horrible hotel. If you want to relax quietly and safely , go somewhere else.

Worst hotel service ever!
I booked the hotel on booking website the night before. It is a confirmed booking. When I reached the hotel, the staff said I need to wait for check in. So I waited about half hour and in the meantime, there was no refreshments nothing but listen to her complain to her manager that the guest is here and their rooms are not functional but that’s fine... horror story coming...
There is no room available! I said I can pay for upgrade to a bigger room but there simply was zero room available for staying. The staff told me that there is no more room here so I will put you in my Sister hotel. It is the same but it’s not the same. I checked and the rates for the Sister hotel is much cheaper and far from the centre.
So I called my booking site and they told me the hotel don’t have a room and will provide me with another hotel. Baan Talay will help me with my luggage and send me to the next hotel... next horror story coming...
The hotel service staff told me I will not send you to the next hotel unless you book all the other days with me. This is ultimately the worst service ever! I said I can pay for the taxi but she said I can walk to the hotel and I am not a guest here anymore because I cancelled and they will not help me.
Seriously this made me very angry! So everyone stay away from this hotel. All the good reviews mean nothing! The service staff don’t even feel apologetic and gave me very terrible attitude because I didn’t want to stay in their Sister hotel. So i dragged my luggage out and went looking for taxi at 10pm Thailand time because they refuse to help me.
If I can give negative 5 stars I will!

Quiet Chaweng resort
Situated at the quiet (south) end of Chaweng Beach. Nice spacious rooms. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Very friendly and helpful restaurant staff. Awful wi-fi with very poor reception and bandwidth.

The bungalow is located on the beach Spacious and well-equipped rooms include a safe and minibar. The rooms are very clean, and the hotel is devastating to the environment by allowing you to put a special tag on the bed so as not to change bedding every day to save water There is a large swimming pool at the hotel There are a variety of restaurants around the hotel along the street To get to the nearest mall you have to walk about half an hour or take a taxi. rich breakfast includ, you can also have lunch and dinner The place also has a local bar. A highly recommended hotel for families

Snorkeling in Koa Tao
Baan Talay is an incredible secret. The owner Devrim is a Free Diver and Yogi. He is just a gem and provides many “extras” such as ice baths.
Snorkeling off the property is the best in Thailand and food is delicious and fresh.
