This pleasant resort is located on a quiet area in the middle of Chaweng town around 200 m from the sandy Chaweng beach, the best one in Koh Samui, far enough to avoid the noise of the animated area. It has easy access to bars, restaurants and shops on the main road. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Samui Airport and 30 minutes from Nathon town. This is a perfect choice for those guests who wish to relax and discover Koh Samui.

Hiding major renovations and showing zero consideration for guests
We had a bad experience during our vacation in Baan Chaweng Koh Samui between Sep. 22 2026 to Oct 07 2026. Without any prior notice or warning from the customer service manager—who should have informed us during our correspondence and the preparations for our arrival (we had booked four rooms for the entire family)—we were told nothing about their plans to carry out extensive renovations, which were likely to cause a disturbance or disrupt our peace and our vacation as a whole. the noise was unacceptable and disturbed who make our vacation a nightmare. When we raised the issue a front to Mr. Tum Sudjai, guest services manager, he refused to take responsibility and outrageously demanded an extra fee to move us to a quiet area. To make matters worse, my wife uses a mobility scooter. Forced to check out early due to the noise and disturbance, we had to search for alternative accommodation on short notice, causing severe physical strain and distress. Hiding major renovations and showing zero consideration for guests with accessibility needs is unacceptable. From my family side we will not choose this place again.

Fantastic place to stay - Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa
Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa is fantastic and very good value for money.
It is a relaxing place (not noisy at all, considering it is close to Main st.) to kick back and enjoy beach, pool and fabulous food. The atmosphere is excellent.
The rooms are always clean and presented very well.
I found the staff are very friendly and professional.
I arrived late (9:30pm) and was picked up by the resorts car from the airport. The car was comfortable and very clean.
Upon arrival after a long flights, the reception staff were brilliant. Chai was excellent.
Thankyou for a very relaxing experience.
I will return. 🩷😀

A hotel we keep coming back to
We have now stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa five times, and that probably says it all. Whenever we return to Koh Samui, this is a place where we always feel comfortable and welcome.
The hotel has a fantastic location directly on Chaweng Beach, while still being close to restaurants, shops and everything Chaweng has to offer. For us, that combination is perfect.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the beach right in front of the hotel is lovely. The staff are always kind, helpful and welcoming, and we have had a very positive experience on every stay.
One of the things we really appreciate is that Baan Chaweng does not feel like a huge, impersonal resort. It has charm, a pleasant atmosphere, good service and a location that is hard to beat.
After five stays, we can confidently recommend Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Chaweng with the beach right on the doorstep.
We are already looking forward to our next visit.
