Was amazing, quite and relaxing place. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Swimming was clean, and you can have a coffee or drink on it. The room was clean and comfortable. Just one word - we really enjoyed our time
A really lovely boutique hotel 20 minutes walk to Fishermen’s Village. Le Club restaurant was just gorgeous . Menu on an iPad given to you and ate there plenty of times and food was amazing and breakfast was too Excellent coffee and service too Only thing I would say I didn’t like was there was often a sewage smell in our room , we think coming from the drains especially after it rained . We did tell reception and they did something for one day but it didn’t last . Such a shame as everything else was fabulous .
I really, really enjoyed this hotel. To be honest I wasn’t sure about it when I first arrived but by the time I left, I really grew to like this place.
It’s a small 4 star resort that focuses on comfort, aesthetics and good food. The staff are all amazing and attentive and it’s clear they have been well trained.
Our room was the Tropical Suite, partial sea view. You can see a small part of the sea from the patio area in front of the room. There is no view from the room itself. And I wouldn’t call this room type a suite. The bed in the room was super comfortable. I slept well every night. Unfortunately my room didn’t have a desk so I had nowhere comfortable to do my hair and make up. And the hairdryer provided had the shortest cable so no matter where I plugged it in, I had no access to use it by a mirror. A full length mirror would also have been nice. Some small points that mean to world to a woman when using a hotel room. There’s limited storage facilities so if you are there for more than a few nights, it’s not great. We were there for 8 nights. The bathroom shows signs of wear and in parts wasn’t very clean. Surface clean yes, but it was clear it needed a good deep clean. I’m very picky about cleanliness so this wasn’t great for me. Housekeeping was ok but again just service level cleaning. I also think the steps in the bathroom are a potential risk. I fell down them several times in the night as they are the same colour and material as the floor and walls so you can’t see the steps in the dark. I got used to it and didn’t hurt myself but this layout is not well designed. But overall a comfortable room.
The pool area was great. Lovely pool with a great view and super comfortable sunbeds. The pool bar was also very nice. There is music playing throughout the day which when at a low volume is nice. At times they turnt the music up loud which wasn’t great. But after several people requested the music to be turned down, it was. There was also a pool table near the pool which we loved! Such a great addition to have!
The grounds are beautiful and well designed. You really feel like you are in a little part of tropical heaven. I didn’t like the beach area. The neighbouring properties are derelict. In the morning, lots of tourists wait at the beach as they are getting on boats for day trips.
There is one restaurant at this hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I only had breakfast here and it was excellent. The produce and service is outstanding. I never grew bored of it. I discovered they make their own pastries on site. A fantastic thing for a small hotel to do as they were delicious and fresh every morning. I could eat a bucketload of their coconut financiers!
I used the spa and had a Thai scrub and massage which was excellent! I thoroughly recommend the treatments here.
Overall a really good hotel that I would recommend.
What can I say about this fantastic place? I can sum it up in one word: spectacular, but after the third time I have to say that there are some very significant flaws that made me think. The first is that I had a massage like always, but the masseuse was too young and inexperienced and realized that after the 7th message on the watch it would be better to remove it. This really disappointed me. Another flaw is that the girls at the restaurant are too young and inexperienced. We kindly pointed out a hat in the bread and they just smiled without changing it. The last thing is the toothbrushes that are not available in any bathroom. I even asked there and after 40 minutes they arrived. I don't want to start an argument, but I hope this review is constructive. Thanks for everything else.
We had 10 nights here and I honestly could not find fault with anything. So welcoming and so prepared to go out of the way to make the stay a memorable one. From the staff on reception to the bar and restaurant staff to the amazing girls in the salon and the maids. Literally one of the best stays we have had anywhere.
They make you feel exceptionally welcome and wanted. Had my birthday there and had the 2 maids knock on my door with some cake singing happy birthday. Food is fantastic and reasonable along with the treatments in the spa.
Pool just the right size and beds always available.
Would highly recommend. You won’t go wrong staying here.
