I stayed at Celes Samui from March 14th to March 20th and am writing this review already on my last full day, as I am confident that my very positive impression will not change.
I booked a twin room with a pool view. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and in great condition. Small touches like complimentary drinks, a coffee machine, and fresh fruit upon arrival really enhanced the feeling of being welcomed. A special thank you to Stang from reception, who personally escorted me to my room, explained everything clearly, and was also open for a friendly conversation – a great first impression.
The overall property is very well maintained and quite spacious, with three pools – two located directly at the beach and one near the street where the more basic rooms are situated. The beach (Bophut Beach) is easily accessible via a staircase and is absolutely beautiful, perfect for swimming, walking, or simply relaxing. There are also plenty of nearby options such as restaurants, massages, and water activities.
Breakfast was included in my stay and offered a wide and high-quality selection. The location is excellent – slightly away from the busy Fisherman’s Village, which creates a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
What truly made the difference, however, was the staff. The entire team was consistently friendly and helpful, but I would especially like to mention:
- Stang (reception), for the warm welcome and personal introduction to the hotel
- Dada (reception), always friendly and welcoming
- Mild, who assisted me in a very dedicated and professional way with a reservation at The Roof
- Jump, who truly went above and beyond by bringing something from his personal household to help me
- Nam from the restaurant, who not only provided excellent service but also helped me learn some Thai and was always open for a warm and engaging conversation
The team truly made a difference and turned a good stay into a memorable one. The staff are a real asset to the hotel.
One of the highlights of my stay was an evening fire show directly on the beach, accompanied by live music. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxed, which made it feel very special. The performers were impressive and even interacted with the audience.
The hotel is well suited for couples, solo travelers, and families alike, as it offers both quiet corners and more lively areas.
To keep the review balanced:
Rooms facing the street can experience noticeable traffic noise at night. For guests who are sensitive to sound, providing earplugs would be a helpful addition. I would also have appreciated a small body lotion as part of the room amenities.
Overall, I felt very comfortable throughout my stay and would definitely return.

Great place to stay!
Our last day at this lovely hotel, sad to be going home, this hotel has been excellent. Beautiful view from the hotel on to the beach, great accomodating staff and very helpful. Would definitely come back again.

My family came to stay for 2 weeks . From Uk and Australia .. We had amazing stay. Hotel was great and all the staff were amazing. 💯 some of us done Thai cooking class with executive chef Mr Somchai Orachon He was amazing. We love it also Kae was so lovely all the staff work so so hard ❤️ then Ann at pool bar was so lovely and friendly, and the staff that worked with her❤️👌 Oi and Pe. Was great we enjoyed our keep fit clssses you all work so so hard .

Great hotel and facilitues good location great rooms but really let down by check in and check out very disorganized over 30 mins to check in and nearly as long to check out called 3 times to come and get bags and in end had to take them ourselves

Great hotel
Rooms are excellent and clean. Great hotel with a fantastic breakfast. Around 30 min walk to the Fishermans Village but there is a few great Thai food restaurants like Mr Kai’s that are 5 min walk.
