What can I say......The Waters was just fabulous. 1 week of peace and quiet in clean, and I mean clean, bliss. The pool, perfect, no leaves, bugs and just the right temperature.
I want to be there now! Honestly if you want to relax and have a good variety of, restaurants, bars and massage parlours and beach just 5mins walk then go to The Waters.
If this is 4 star, then who needs 5 star.
We were near the back of the resort, but JJ ( always smiling and really sweet) would pick us up and drop us back and forth to breakfast and reception at the anytime in the buggy which is a service the hotel offers.
Highly recommend!!!!

Great relaxing friendly stay
We have just finished our 2 week holiday here staying on a bed and breakfast stay the hotel is in a great location. The staff are very friendly and very helpful from reception to the gardeners, The food at breakfast is very good depending on your taste with lots of variety and some very unusual non European dishes all well cooked . The rooms we saw were all spacious cleaned well with towels for dinners etc left every day. This is there low season but no problems getting sunbeds at any time might be different in high season but with so many swim up rooms I doubt it . The local restaurants are all with in easy walking distance as are 2 beaches . Just to thank all the staff for a great stay if we come back to khao lak this is where we will stay

Excellent week at The Waters
We have just returned from a week at The Waters as part of a multi centre holiday. We arrived at this hotel after an internal transfer from our previous hotel in Phuket. The check in process was easy and a welcome drink was provided. The reception staff were very professional. Our rooms were available soon after arrival and were of a good standard and overlooking one of the many pools. All the staff we dealt with were excellent and always greeted us with a smile, if we had any queries then these were dealt with straight away. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, plenty of pools and the scenery was one of the best we have seen at a hotel. Our package included breakfast which was of an excellent standard, with plenty of variety and both European and Asian options. The food was always warm. We booked a half board package (not sure why), if we returned to The Waters we would not do it again. The only restaurant on site was an Italian one; although the food quality was really good we did not want Italian for 7 days when there were plenty of good Restaurants close by. We could use our vouchers around the pool during the day which we did as well as other Restaurants at different hotels in the hotel group (free transport arranged) - we used one our their Thai Restaurants a few times. The hotel is located close to a number of Restaurants and shops (including a 7 eleven). The beach is a short walk away. The hotel and resort was quiet which was expected at this time of the year. This suited us after a busy week in Phuket. Khao Lak is a stunning resort close to the Rain Forests of the area and easily accessed if you have transport or via excursions. We would return to this hotel if we visited Khao Lak again.

A piece of paradise
Just returned from an 11 night stay at the waters, I can honestly say this hotel exceeded all expectations and delivered my partner and I a little piece of paradise. We stayed in a swim up room which was spacious, clean with all amenities such as a fridge kettle iron ironing board and hairdryer. The staff could not do enough for you, with no expectations of a tip. The hotel is ideally situated with plenty of shops bars restaurants and amenities within walking distance. The food was excellent and priced reasonably for a hotel. I am already planning a return trip as the only thing I can complain about is having to leave it all behind. Thank you to everyone at the waters for making our holiday so memorable, see you next year.

Pretty perfect
This is a beautiful hotel - not on the beach which is a short stroll away but more than compensated by the sheer number of pools the main one with a swim up bar is massive. My double room with balcony was spacious, very large king size bed, walk in shower, free room safe and reasonable WiFi throughout the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, a very large choice of hot and cold food including bacon and eggyif that's what you want. Staff are really friendly, helpful and efficient. Really glad I stayed here
