The hotel is situated in the midst of this eclectic city's business, entertainment and shopping district. Just a 5 minutes' walk away, guests will find Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations. Suvarnabhumi International Airport is located just 30 km away. This wonderfully-designed hotel enjoys a contemporary style with striking features and luxurious surroundings. The guest rooms feature a vibrant design and unrivalled luxury with uncompromised comfort and convenience. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The main issue is cleanliness and maintenance. The hotel entrance already gives a poor first impression with heavily stained carpets. In the room we found dust, stains on the walls, an unclean bathroom cabinet and limescale on the shower walls. The chair in the room was visibly dirty and even the replacement chair was also stained. This points to a structural lack of proper cleaning and upkeep. Because of this, we would not recommend this hotel.
I think the hotel is nice overall. The location is very convenient—set on a quiet side street while still being very central.
You can clearly see that the hotel is somewhat worn and in need of renovation, and the same applied to our room. That said, the bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and bottled water provided in the room every day.
Housekeeping was decent overall, although the hallway outside our room could have been vacuumed more thoroughly.
The rooftop bar was a real highlight—we went there every evening before going to bed. The bartenders were very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and enjoyable. The drinks and wine were very good, although the prices were perhaps a bit on the high side—but that’s to be expected at a hotel.
The pool is small, but perfectly fine for cooling off. We thought the breakfast was good. The internet was very reliable, and the air conditioning in the room worked very well. All the staff spoke English and were very friendly.
Overall, the hotel is a bit worn, but still a very good choice that offers solid value for money. I would happily stay there again.
Stayed here in April / May 2026 for 12 nights, reading reviews was a little unsure of the stay.
Very mixed reviews, however to be honest, the hotel is located in a quiet Soi, yes it is a little walk, but it is not heavy with traffic, at the end of the Soi is a walkway to cross the main road or to walk above the road,
Short stroll is SW1 market, great place to shop and eat each night.
The hotel itself is old, however it is hard for any hotel to stay new, thats just how ageing works for a hotel.
Wear can be seen around the hotel however for me, the bed was comfortable and the food was ok for the price, if you expect a 5 star experience, you will be disappointed, however if you are after a clean room and a comfortable bed then this hotel will be fine
I usually stay at the Aloft on soi 11 when I'm in Bangkok until I discovered this place just a few steps away on soi 10. I'm kicking myself I hadn't done so sooner.
It's better equipped than the Aloft, has friendlier staff, the rooms are bigger, it has a better pool, it's quieter and it's closer to the BTS Station. And all of this at one third the price of it's Marriott doppelganger. I don't know why I stayed loyal for so long. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Very nice place to stay in Bangkok. Well located. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.
