Just a 5-minute drive from Ubud, this boutique resort hotel is located in the Petanu valley, near the village of Nagi, and offers spectacular views of the river gorge and terraced paddy fields beyond. Ubud Market and the Monkey Forest are both about 5 minutes away. The drive from Denpasar to the hotel takes about 40 min, while the journey from Bali International Airport to the hotel takes approximately 50 minutes. All rooms open onto a large infinity-edge swimming pool set in a lush tropical garden which offers great view of a forested ravine and a river. All the rooms have all the comforts expected of a hotel in its class. Guests can participate in activities such as jogging and cycling around the village. Breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are available either à la carte or from a set menu. This resort will enchant the guests with its warm hospitality and surrounding beauty.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting
The setting and RESORT are unique and beautiful. The service and the caring staff make your stay memorable.
Relax and be pampered.
Perfection! I can't think of a negative thing to say or even a suggestion for improvement. The Garden Villa was spacious, light filled, beautifully appointed. very private and quiet, with an unimpeded view of the lush vegetation around the river valley. Meals at Cascades were excellent with a good selection of drinks. We spoilt ourselves with a degustation meal with paired wine at Aperitif and we are still raving about it. ALL staff were helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Although the room rate is at the higher end (well justified) once there the Viceroy doesn't price gouge. Even minibar prices were very reasonable and our package included massages or similar every day - GREAT VALUE for a special getaway. Highly Recommend and we will be back.

Outstanding stay well worth a visit
There so many positive things to say about our stay from food to spa room all exceeded our expectations. The secret of any resort is the staff and they hit that well beyond most hotels and resorts . I have been in the industry for over 40 years very hard to achieve such high standards . Very quiet and peaceful environment , nothing is to much . We Will be back one day and thank you and the team for making our stay so special .

Sustainable Luxury
Viceroy is a gorgeous and peaceful property. The nature, the décor, and the staff are all wonderful. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable outdoor seating, a private plunge pool, and green views. Social hour at Pinstripe Bar and Cascades Restaurant were highlights. The ambiance at Pinstripe is perfect for enjoying cocktails and appetizers. We also appreciate Viceroy’s commitment to sustainability (no single-use plastic, water treatment, organic garden, and more). This was our second stay at Viceroy, and we look forward to a third!

Best customer service, views, and food in Bali
Best service in all of Bali. And if you are a foodie, you will enjoy! The entire hotel knew our names, favorite cocktails and preferences with food. They took time to visit with us each and every day and New our itinerary. I planned a surprise helicopter tour for my mother and ask the service member that I scheduled it with to keep it a secret. The next day she was so surprised and almost every single staff member asked us if she enjoyed the surprise. Trust me they are watching her every move making sure you have everything that you need to enjoy your stay fully. If Service is your thing and you want a beautiful atmosphere with fantastic food, go here!
