Wonderful hotel
We had a wonderful three night stay in the Samaya. We ate in both the Swept Away restaurant and had room service also; both were great meals cooked to perfection. Breakfast overlooking the rice paddy fields and lush greenery was a great way to start the day. During our stay my wife and I had spa treatments which we enjoyed very much whilst overlooking the beautiful gardens and river that flows past the hotel. The biggest asset to this hotel is the staff , they are all so welcoming and friendly and you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Ultra relaxation 😎
We spent a lovely 4 nights at the Samaya Ubud and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our villa, the staff and food were all fantastic!
Bali countryside paradise.
We had the best stay at the Samaya. The riverside location is special and the views across rice paddies up to the mountains are amazing. Both can be viewed from restaurants on site. The accommodation is extensive and private with all the facilities you could want. And the staff! They were all kind, helpful and efficient. What a fantastic hotel from which to enjoy the delights of Ubud and surrounds.

Relaxing stay at The Samaya Ubud
We returned to The Samaya Ubud after 15 years (last visit was in 2011). We were greeted with the warm smiles of the staff who remembered that we stayed here 25 years ago! Truly impressed that they still had a record of our last stay and their thoughtful gesture of the special cake to welcome us back!
They’ve made some improvements to the villas and the food & service is still impeccable. Only negative is some of the bathroom facilities ( bathroom sink and shower head) are looking a bit tired/aged and probably need to be changed, but that is understandable considering the age of the resort.
Other than that, we were v happy to return to The Samaya Ubud and are still so impressed by their service and hospitality. Please keep up the good work!
Would highly recommend if you want a chill and relaxing stay with good service!
