Excellent Bali Retreat!
We had a wonderful stay at Sankara Suites & Villas. The oversized, carefully decorated rooms are facing a lush green peaceful forrest with a river that can be heard from our balcony. This is the perfect retreat for anyone needing to unplug from city life or corporate job. They also gave us a 30 minute complimentary message which was one of the best we've ever had and we have traveled extensively throughout Asia. We took an excursion to the Kanto Waterfalls and the Rice Terrace, a half day trip and our driver Bagus was excellent! His English was very good and it enhanced our experience because he could detail our journey. The entire staff was gracious and patient ensuring that our stay was one of comfort.

Fantastic hotel
Absolutely amazing hotel. We had a valley view suite and it was a lovely size with a superking bed, balcony overlooking the jungle and a huge bathroom with a bath overlooking the jungle.
The staff were amazing, with a special shout to Emi, they really couldn't do enough for you.
The hotel itself was immaculate and very very relaxing. The area is very calm and tranquil and the infinity pool was great.
The hotel is not particularly wheelchair friendly but as our disabled guest had limited mobility this wasn't really an issue. If you were dependent on a wheelchair it could be an issue.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and varied and very good value.
I would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again, it really was superb and our stay here was absolutely fantastic.
Beautiful villas
This place was beautiful tranquil and serene The rooms were lovely - we had a room with a pool. We actually spent our time at the shared pool though as the pool at the room only got sun for a limited amount of the day. The main pool was beautiful and not busy so easy to get a sun bed. The welcome was warm and the breakfast was amazing - I couldn’t eat anywhere near all the offerings.

Great place to stay!
Our stay at the Sankara Suites and Villas was amazing! The location was quiet and gorgeous (but close enough to Ubud that a short shuttle got you there in no time!), the atmosphere in the hotel was chilled, the room was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgable and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Sankara Suites & Villas Bali! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. Location is super close to Ubud centre with many restaurants and the Art Market nearby!
A special thank you to Cantika, Emi, Putu, and Yogi for their warm smiles, kindness, and exceptional service. They made us feel more like friends than guests and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special.
