Had a fabulous 5 night stay. This place is magical! Beautiful heritage style rooms. Massive bathtubs and balcony overlooking the river. The spa and sauna areas are built into the hill side overlooking the forest and river, and has wonderful Gaudi vibes with local motifs and statues. Hot and cold plunge pools. Amazing massage . Staff are very friendly. Short walk to the main shopping area of Ubud.
Fabulous place steeped in history. Staff, facilities & food are top notch - highly recommend
Our stay at Hotel Tjampuhan & Spa was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the staff stood out and the people here genuinely could not do more for you. The hotel itself is set in a stunning location, surrounded by lush scenery that makes you feel instantly relaxed. It’s within walking distance to town, though be prepared for a bit of uphill and downhill walking which is part of the charm of Ubud! The road into town can get quite busy, but it adds to the vibrant and exciting atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering both comfort and a sense of luxury. The pool area is peaceful and incredibly relaxing which is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The highlight, without a doubt, is the spa. The setting for the massages is breathtaking, and the hot pool is something truly special where it is designed like a river flowing inside a cave. It’s a unique experience you simply have to try
The Hotel atmosphere is really authentic. Wayan Sudiarta the restaurant and manager really makes an amazing hospitality 🌺🎀🌺🤗
Check in was smooth and welcoming with warm Balinese style and welcome drink. Room was very clean, beds comfortable, nice supply of toiletries, tea / coffee. Air con and ceiling fan in room both very good.
Pool area and bar very relaxing. Breakfast was good especially the omelets, coffe and Kolak Pisang. Included activities: offering making and temple walk were excellent, thank you to Nyoman and Arya for showing us both.
As the stay was for a birthday special mention to Ada supervisor of housekeeping for organising birthday cake upon arrival and for excellent daily housekeeping and for quickly resolving the issue of mould smell in our room with a humidifier.
Only downside, there are alot of stairs and no lifts, I found a collapsible walking stick useful to help with this.
Would highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.
Suksama to all the staff who made our stay truly memorable.
