Gem of Ubud
The location is very good, walking distance for the Main Street with shops and restaurants. Close to the markets and temples… When you are in the hotel you forget outside noise… you feel you are in the jungle… Nice pool , spa area… Rooms are clean, comfortable and with stunning views The value/quality are fare. Everything is clean, well cared, the gardens are lovely. All the people working here are nice, kind, gentle. We came as a family… we absolutely loved it. It is our second time here…it is safe, quiet. Amazing holiday at a beautiful spa
My mother and I had an amazing time at Tjampuhan. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our requests. There are many steep steps so not the best if you find that difficult but the scenery was spectacular. The spa was beautiful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. 100% I will be returning here my next time in Ubud.

A Lovely Resort with Fond Memories
We stayed at this resort 20 years ago, and it is still as wonderful as we remembered. We booked a clean, spacious four-person villa with balconies overlooking the valley, offering spectacular views. The property feels like a lush garden, with villas dotted throughout and connected by beautiful, winding cobblestone paths. It is said the resort itself is a tourist attraction in its own right. Surprisingly, one of the complimentary morning activities, a visit to a temple on the other side of the valley, proved to be an absolute delight. Said to be one of the oldest in the area, the temple was beautiful, well-maintained, and completely peaceful with no other tourists around. It was a refreshing contrast to the more crowded sights in Bali and easily the best temple experience we had.

Hotel Tjampuhan a treasure in Ubud
Hotel Tjampuhan instantly makes you feel at home. The staff we met while we were staying were always pleased to see us and genuinely wanted to hear about where we were from, what we had done in Bali, how our stay and experiences were. Our room was clean and beds comfortable to enjoy a restful stay. We were amazed with the history of the hotel. The setting is peaceful and has a beauty and sense of calm about it. Services were amazing. We indulged in a massage and beauty treatments. The setting for this makes relaxation easy, amongst nature, listening to the birdsong and river below. The Hotel is a great location to easily walk to main center for market shopping and enjoy local cafes. Staff - from management, who made a point to chat with us regularly amd ensure we were happy with how our stay was going, to the many staff that make Hotel Tjampuhan run effortlessly, we thank you for making our stay memorable, comfortable and we will be eager to return to see you all again. While staying we had a wonderful driver Nandito who shared his local knowledge of the area and insightful chats about Balinese culture. I would highly recommend as a guide/driver while in Ubud. We enjoyed his company and learnings. Hotel Tjampuhan encompasses so many wonderful attributes that make it the perfect holiday home away from home.
