The bes resort in Ubud !
What a fantastic resort : live the true balinese culture experience, in an outstanding environment, close to everything and with a unbeattable service. Me and my family have been here many times and we wouldn't chose any other Resort than Komaneka, coz it's simply gather all the important points you're looking for.
Exceptional place to stay
I cannot recommend this hotel enough upon arrival to departure everything was excellent.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable and to ensure we had an excellent stay with them. They were all so caring and are all a credit to this hotel.
The hotel is an oasis from the hustle and bustle outside.
Breakfast was fantastic and we used their restaurant a couple of times for dinner which we would highly recommend.
We also used their spa which was excellent and so relaxing.
Our room which was a twin was beautiful with a lovely veranda to sit out on and relax. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional and the staff who looked after the rooms were so thoughtful and thoroughly looked after us.
My friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay and even shed a little tear when we left. We will recommend to all our family and friends. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bali now and hope to come back again very soon.

This was my 3rd time here (since 2022) - I LOVE this place from the 1st time!!! But, can you imagine, every time it's even better and better... :)
It's like you live in a garden in the center of Ubud... And valley, and small river... And rice fields... and monkeys sometime passing by... Honor to nature and comfort... You just feel good here... And swimming pool!!! Almost crying leaving it... "The soul of Bali in the heart of Ubud" - 100 %! Honoring tradition, but also going "with time". Location - perfect; atmosphere - amazing; rooms - charming, clean, silent, equipped with everything you need and with additional fruits, snacks, drinks (soda, coffee, tea, water...) for free! During our long stays here we tried almost all types of rooms, villas and found our favorite one (sorry, will not say the number... :))! For sure - there is the ONE (room or villa) the most perfect one for YOU! But special words I should say about the staff - last time I was here 2 years ago. I didn't believe that we will be remembered... This time we didn't do booking before, just arrived and wanted to agree about our stay after 2 days... We arrived and... The staff remembered us!!! even my name!!! That was a real shock!!! The staff is really TRULY friendly, caring and warm with guests :) Our special thanks and LOVE to Ade, Wulan and Wistri :)))))))) Baiba
Much better hotels within 10 mins walk away. And better locations.
All about making more money. Step walks to the rooms. Make you sign disclaimers and charge for practically everything including bath bombs in rooms. Price tags on everything in bedroom. Very odd for a 5 star hotel.
Second visit - still great
We had stayed here 9 years ago and decided to book again. We chose the pool villa again, which is a beautiful and spacious room with views over the rice field. The reception staff and staff at the breakfast area are very friendly and helpful, and even know you by name, which makes the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. When we arrived, the lady at the reception blessed us with an Indonesian ritual and put on a bracelet, such a nice touch. I am still wearing the bracelet. Breakfast overlooking the beautiful garden is lovely. There is a small buffet, and you can also order from the menu. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. We also really enjoyed the afternoon tea, it’s a nice added touch. Each day, the hotel provides a fresh set of pajamas on your bed, which are wonderfully soft to sleep in. The location is still perfect for us, you can easily walk into the center of Ubud, yet you don’t notice any of the hustle and bustle when you’re in your room or at the resort. We will come back again!
