Located in the highlands of Bali, this resort overlooks the sacred Ayung River valley. The Puri Lukisan Museum is 15 minutes' drive away and is the nearest place where one can see the traditional Kecak dance. The airport is about 55 minutes’ car drive away. This luxurious property offers guests the ultimate comfort and convenience due to its wonderful surroundings and delightful cervices that are meant to please all types of travellers. There is a large pool for those who want to start their day with a refreshing swim, spa and wellness area to be pampered and relaxed and delicious food options among other facilities. The spacious and perfectly decorated rooms have a comfortable and elegant atmosphere that help to have an unforgettable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
It was overall an amazing experiences. The whole staff was very friendly ALL the time. The view from the Ayung Terrace into the jungle is unbelievable. The SPA experiences were simply outstanding. The whole resort was clean, our "room" in the main building (2 levels) was just perfect for us. Next time we'd like to stay in on of the villas which offers also a plunge pool. The resort offers several restaurants which we experienced all - all great: cocktails (I could recommend the Bee Sting), balinese food - amazing. Just one tip: get used to mother natures sind - you hear the river all day which we didn't find disturbing however it took as a night to get used to night music from the frogs :) We also experienced the "can you keep a secret" - tour which is absolutely recommendable as it shows little different insights than tourists would experience.
Overall it was one of the best vacations we ever had, top level from staff, food, area.
Thanks to all members of the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan.
We had such a wonderful stay and want to give a special thank you to Dedi for the lovely check-in experience and for making our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive.
The villa was simply wow, absolutely speechless! Every detail was beautiful, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We truly felt cared for throughout our stay and can’t wait to come back again.
This hotel was out of this world. The view, the service, everything. We recommend to play music with the artists in the reception and try the anti gravity yoga. Food was great. They seem to be very organised and coordinated at the hotel. No noise or pollution and surrounded by nature. A bit expensive but worth it.
This was our first visit to Sayan and we went there after a week in Jimbaran Bay on the beach. The property is charming, and you enter with a walk across the bridge which was the exact same way my protagonist enters into a fantasy land in a screenplay I wrote recently. This was significant because the property does feel a bit like a fantasy land of lily ponds and rice paddies carved into a jungle with a river running through it. Our villa was stunning (multilevel with stairs circling down.) The top level had a lily pond to rest and watch the river. A circular staircase brings you into a villa with a vast outside and pool, then into a room with traditional art and carvings that changed character with turn down service. Just beautiful. I was excited about Sayan’s Spa and award-winning treatments which did not disappoint. We really loved the “sacred nap” and “Can You Keep a Secret?” excursion. It’s a small property (60 rooms I think) and unique experience. Note: there are LOTS of stairs, hills, and no elevators on property. If you go, don’t forget the sacred nap.
Put simply, this hotel is exceptional. The sublime setting, the stunning architecture, the delicious food, the excellent facilities, the feeling of serenity. But above all, it is the warmth and hospitality of the staff that elevate it and make it so very memorable. Our stay here was quite magical and restorative. And quite unforgettable.
