My stay at Arma museum and resort was truly remarkable! As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and extremely comfortable at this property. They accommodated a late check in (1 AM) and I was escorted to my room and given clear instructions on the amenities. The room was clean, spacious and overlooked the pool. Arma is centrally located but also has excellent amenities within the property. I visited the spa and tried out the Balanese massage a scrub. The masseuse was excellent and informed me about each step. I bought tickets to the evening dance performances, resort residence are given front row seats and I LOVED that! Made me extra happy to choose Arma. My stay at Arma was so good that I’m planning my next trip already!
I stayed in a Superior Queen Room on the third floor, which was bright, spacious, and offered a beautiful view. Waking up to the scenery every morning was one of the highlights of my stay.
The staff were always kind, friendly, and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit.
I also enjoyed the cultural activities offered by the resort. The Gamelan lesson was a unique and memorable experience, and watching the Kecak dance performance was truly enjoyable. These activities made my stay in Ubud even more special.
Everything exceeded my expectations, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had.
If I have the opportunity to visit Ubud again, I would definitely stay at ARMA Museum & Resort. Thank you to all the staff for your warm hospitality and for making my stay so memorable.
The hotel is an oasis in the hubbub of Ubud. Just a couple of kms walk to the markets in the centre of Ubud. Set in acres of lush vegetation there are 2 pools, a spa for beauty treatments and a great restaurant. We stayed there for 2 nights at the end of a 10 day tour around Flores Island and Komodo so the luxury was very welcome. The rooms are large and clean and my balcony overlooked one of the pools. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which is great with a good range of food and wine and very friendly service. The museum that is attached to the hotel is worth a visit as is the coffee shot. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We have been fortunate to travel extensively and have visited roughly three-quarters of the countries in the world and we have stayed in many of the finest hotels across every continent. Yet, if I had to choose one place that holds a special place in my heart, it would be Bali, and especially this remarkable ARMA hotel.
My wife and I first stayed here more than 30 years ago, and we continue to return whenever we visit Bali. Few properties in the world offer such a complete and authentic experience.
This is far more than a hotel. It is a destination in itself. The beautiful rice fields, spectacular tropical gardens, temples, world-class museum, art collections, and nightly cultural performances create an atmosphere that is uniquely Balinese and impossible to replicate elsewhere.
The property allows guests to experience the essence of Bali without ever leaving the grounds. It is peaceful, inspiring, culturally rich, and exceptionally beautiful.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the Agung Rai, Suartini, the owners, management, and staff make every guest feel like family. After more than three decades of visits, that feeling has never changed.
In a world where many luxury hotels look alike, this property remains completely unique. It combines culture, art, spirituality, nature, and hospitality in a way I have never seen anywhere else.
For me, Bali is one of the most special places on Earth, and this hotel is my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world.
Highly recommended without reservation.
This is the only hotel I have ever visited that is not friendly to the guests staying there and to the local people. It was very disappointing when we came there to provide health services for our guests who were staying there but it was not provided in the room but in the wantilan, and when we asked to use a lounge chair and towels, they were not given them.
