Quite simply, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in
From the moment we arrived at The Legian Bali, we knew we were somewhere very special. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the exceptional team of people. Every member of staff was warm, friendly and incredibly attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The service was genuinely outstanding without ever feeling overbearing.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was stunning, beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, with wonderful views across the beach and ocean. The pools are absolutely incredible and provide the perfect place to relax, whether you are travelling as a couple or as a family.
And then there is the food! Breakfast was simply outstanding, with an amazing choice and everything prepared to an exceptionally high standard. The cocktails were fantastic too, and enjoying one by the pool while listening to the live jazz band in the evenings was a real highlight.
The location is also perfect. Sitting right on the beautiful beach, with spectacular views, yet just an easy walk to an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and beach clubs, it gives you the best of both worlds – complete relaxation when you want it, with plenty to explore right on your doorstep.
We loved every minute of our stay and were genuinely sad to leave. The combination of the beautiful setting, exceptional rooms, incredible pools, fabulous food and, above all, the wonderful people who look after you so well makes The Legian a very special place indeed.
We would return in a heartbeat and would highly recommend The Legian to anyone looking for somewhere truly exceptional in Bali – whether travelling as a couple, with friends or as a family.

Perfect
Perfect! Two weeks right on the beach in 5 star plus accommodation and the most amazing staff that all knew our name. We had the most amazing food and loved high tea in our room every afternoon. The Balinese dinner on a Tuesday is a must do, just fabulous. Security was next level. And the sunset is one you will enjoy every night you are there 😊

A Beautiful Luxury Stay — With One Important Area to Improve
Our stay at The Legian was truly wonderful. The hotel has a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, an exceptional ocean view, and one of the nicest beachfronts we experienced during our stay in Bali. The sand is soft, clean, and pleasant to walk on barefoot.
The location is another major advantage. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from a convenient shortcut leading directly to the heart of Seminyak, with its excellent restaurants, cafés, shops, and lively atmosphere. Despite being close to everything, the property itself feels peaceful and private.
Our suite was spacious, beautifully maintained, well organized, and equipped with everything we needed. The cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team did a great job.
Most importantly, the staff were exceptional — genuinely welcoming, professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Their hospitality made a real difference to our experience.
A special thank you to the team for the beautiful flower arrangement and the lovely celebration prepared for us. It was a thoughtful and memorable gesture that we truly appreciated. ❤️
⚠️ One important area for improvement
The main issue we experienced was the sound insulation of the suite.
Unfortunately, external sounds were quite noticeable inside the room, particularly music and continuous nighttime sounds such as crickets or other insects. As someone who values a quiet environment when sleeping, this had a significant impact on our rest. On one night, the noise was persistent enough that we were unable to sleep properly and unfortunately lost the entire night.
For a luxury property of this level, I believe improving the acoustic insulation and nighttime noise control would make a meaningful difference to the guest experience.
Despite this issue, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the entire team for their excellent hospitality. The property, location, beachfront, suite, cleanliness, and staff were all outstanding.
With improved soundproofing, The Legian could be an even more exceptional luxury experience.

Sunsets, Smiles, and Five-Star Service
We had a wonderful stay at The Legian. The resort is beautiful, but what truly made our experience special was the exceptional staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and going above and beyond to help.
A special thank you to Sri, Mierta, Tude, and Cynthia, who were absolutely fabulous throughout our stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel so well looked after.
The level of service was faultless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily return and highly recommend The Legian to anyone visiting Bali.
