What a great experience!!!
We can’t praise enough The Kayana!!!!! Every detail is impeccable! Very comfortable room, the pool was a bliss after a hot day out, and no noise at all in the room for a villa located in the heart of Seminyak! Spa cozy and beautiful, massage was amazing. Restaurant - breakfast and lunch ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Staff - everyone so nice and welcoming, ready to talk and share stories and facts( if you feel like talking), big smiles all over! We felt so welcomed and looked after! I’ll definitely come back. Reception team always ready to help, again with the biggest smile! Restaurant staff also delightful! Thank you guys! You made our stay unforgettable!

Beautiful hotel in central area, ideal to relax as well as enjoy many lovely restaurants
The Kayana is lovely and I would highly recommend. Beautiful setting, an oasis off the main road area. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The villa was stunning with its own pool and seating area, large walk-in/out bathroom with both shower and bath.Immaculately clean. Spa lovely and massages very good. Very easy to get taxi’s from here (use Bluebird for best price), lots of amazing restaurants nearby from local to fine dining. This was our first stop in Bali and it was a great start to our 25th wedding anniversary trip. Highly recommend!

The fabulous Kayana in Seminyak
We’ve just returned from a fabulous ten day stay at The Kayana. All the staff were amazing - so kind, thoughtful and attentive. The villa was spacious and clean and the pool and gardens well maintained and beautiful. The spa was very reasonable and provided a good range of services, well worth a visit or two. Couldn’t fault the food and room service was very prompt and always delivered with a smile. Seminyak is a busy town but you wouldn’t know this during your stay because it is such a relaxing, quiet and calm place to be. Definitely recommend it as a relaxing place to stay on your holiday.
Sold as 5-star luxury, delivered as a tired 3-star
The Kayana Villa is listed as 5-star luxury, but in reality I'd say it's more of a 3-star. Just look at my photos.
The wooden headboard had dried drip stains and gaps between the panels. The sofa cushion was visibly stained. There was hair and grime along the bathtub edge, a discoloured lampshade, a worn, water-marked towel stand, and a mirror with black spots creeping across the glass.
The floors were worse: a dark rust-coloured stain and a crack by the sliding door, plus more staining and cracks near the curtains. This is long-term wear and water damage that has simply been left.
None of this is a matter of taste. Stains, cracks, hair in the bath and a decaying mirror are maintenance and housekeeping failures, exactly what you pay to avoid at a 5-star villa.
I booked two days before arrival, didn't use any of the four nights, and offered to pay for one - I checked out within 30 minutes. The Kayana offered nothing - this is false advertising and should take priority over a no-refund policy. Hotels.com offered a 75 EUR credit. Not Happy, dont book here.
