The Elysian Boutique Villa Hotel

We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Elysian Boutique Hotel. From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. We didn’t arrive until around 2:30am after our flight, but the team stayed up beyond their normal check-in time to welcome us and had organised our airport transport, which we paid for. This was hugely appreciated after such a long journey. They were also incredibly helpful when we realised we had left an item behind, arranging a Grab to deliver it to our next hotel. Our villa was beautifully appointed and spacious, and would definitely be suitable for a longer stay, although we were only there for three nights. The property and lush grounds are maintained to a very high standard and everything was exceptionally clean. As with any property, there are a few areas where some general maintenance could be refreshed, particularly parts of the bathroom which looked a little tired, but this was easily overlooked given the excellent cleanliness and beautifully maintained grounds. The villa had adequate storage, a very large shower and a lovely sitting and dining area. The internet was also fast and reliable, which was a real bonus. The dining options were excellent. Butler service is available, allowing breakfast and other meals to be delivered to your villa. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with a fantastic selection of high-quality, beautifully prepared food. Lunch and dinner were also very good, with plenty of choice, themed nights and special offers. Happy hour was another highlight — the cocktails were delicious and certainly generous! 🍸 The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. You genuinely feel that your privacy is respected, creating a wonderfully peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. We didn’t use the spa facilities, so unfortunately can’t comment on those. We had read some reviews mentioning the narrow streets leading to the hotel. They are certainly narrow, but we found them perfectly safe to walk, and it’s only around 5–10 minutes to the beach and nearby shopping area. There’s plenty to see and do, with some lovely hotels nearby if you fancy lunch somewhere different. Overall, The Elysian is a beautiful property with exceptional service, wonderful staff, excellent food and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The team genuinely couldn’t do enough for us, and the personal touches made our stay particularly memorable.

We had a fantastic 7-night stay at The Elysian Boutique Villa Hotel in September 2027 from Australia. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy, comfortable and we were well looked after.

The villa was beautiful, private and very clean, and the staff were genuinely wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

One of the things we really appreciated was the help from the hotel in arranging two day tours for us. They took care of all the organising, which made the whole process completely stress free.

Our day trip to Ubud with Putu was particularly special. Putu really is one of a kind and absolutely terrific at what he does. He was friendly, knowledgeable and so easy to spend the day with. We managed to see so many places without ever feeling rushed or stressed. Putu made the whole day seamless and enjoyable, and he was a big part of why it was such a memorable experience.

The breakfasts were excellent ( we loved the Indonesian options and the French toast!), the spa treatment was lovely, and the lunch and romantic dinner were great additions to our stay.

We booked through Jetstar holidays and felt it was great value for money.

Overall, we couldn’t fault The Elysian. The hotel itself is beautiful (even better than the pictures show), but it was the people who really made our stay. The staff consistently went above and beyond, and we felt very well looked after throughout our week.
