We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The hotel is clean, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sanur. It’s close to everything you need while still offering a relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast is extensive, especially by Indonesian standards, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options every morning.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanur. We would definitely love to come back!
I would stay here again. The beachfront location, good breakfast, reasonable price, and charming staff made it a very pleasant stay.
The resort is set on five acres, and the rooms are well laid out. Although it is an older hotel and shows some wear and tear, it includes practical touches such as a small clothes rack off the upstairs balcony and a bathroom clothesline.
If you have a choice, choose an upstairs room so you can use the external hanging rack. In a downstairs room, wet items from above may drip onto your outdoor sitting area.
The resort is very wheelchair friendly, including access to the beach. Artificial turf has been laid to make the journey smoother.
Breakfast was thoughtfully organised. The dining room was well spaced, so guests did not bump into one another, and there were four coffee machines, so there was no need to queue. Fruit, salads, butter, cheeses, and cold meats were kept in refrigerated compartments.
We received a lovely complimentary fruit platter, and four bottles of water were provided each day. Bathrobes were available, although there were no hand towels.
The housekeeper did a fabulous job. He arranged my belongings neatly and even twisted my cables so they were easier to use.
There were plenty of beach chairs and bean bags available on the beach. Near the pool, there were about 10 to 12 lounge chairs, and thankfully, there were not many chair hoggers. I did notice one guest who placed a towel on a chair early in the morning and still had not returned by the time I left at noon.
Along the beachfront, there are many small warungs to the left, as well as more hotels and bars. Laundries, massage places, and other services are just outside the hotel. Nightly buffets are also held on the beachfront.
The beach is mostly clean and suitable for swimming, although the water recedes quite far at low tide.
There is a large day room with showers and a children's play area, but it is not very inviting and has an unpleasant smell.
The main drawbacks were the unusual placement of the fridge and tea and coffee facilities in the bathroom, beside the toilet and shower. There was only one USB outlet in the entire resort, located near reception, and even staff used it to charge their devices. The room also had a slight sewage smell, and the bathroom drained slowly.
On the first Sunday of the month, small artisans sell their wares on the beach. There is also a turtle release program and children's activities at the Genius Café.
Tip If your charging adaptor dies, as mine did, you can use the USB outlet behind the smart TV. The TV needs to be turned on for it to work.
Old run down and very very tired. Grounds are lovely, team are very friendly and nice but the place is well worn. Room although clean has every surface scratched and marked and sure it has never been refurbished in its life. Don't waste your time trying to get into your room before 3 pm, your wasting your time.
Late checkout Good experience, nice service Clean rooms ,good location, close to the beach, Brian help me so much
The room was really tired and run down. Weird kitchen area in the bathroom, make a nice cup of coffee while doing a poo! Shower drain blocked and my young son managed to flood the whole room while taking a shower. It's unbelievable that this is a 4* hotel. We came from the Marriot Element in Ubud which was spectacular. I would class the room as something you would expect to find in a high end backpackers. It's fine, but not for the price.
On the plus side, the communal areas are kept very clean and tidy and the breakfast options were good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
