- Hyatt Regency Bali

Set on the old site of Bali Hyatt on the main street of Sanur, the hotel is located on a delightful beachfront and nine hectares of lush tropical gardens. Each of 363 rooms is elegantly designed with a modern Balinese touch and overlooks the tranquil gardens or the Indian Ocean. The hotel is conveniently located near Bali's main tourist attractions, and the International Ngurah Rai Airport is just 16 km away.
Third time in this hotel and it never disappoints! Rooms spacious and very clean, premises well kept, staff super friendly, breakfast ultra tasty, very close to the Sanur harbour so convenient for scuba diving trips. Gym well equipped and super clean. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
We spent 4 nights at the Regency Hyatt Sanur in celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary. As well as being thoroughly spoilt with room decorations, cake and vouchers on the day itself, we felt well looked after for the duration. The grounds of the hotel were stunning and the beach was too. Our spa experience topped anything we've had before and the adults only pool was a slice of heaven. Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic stay and hope to return soon!
After reading the glowing reviews of this hotel I went ahead and booked and have felt nothing but agitated since I got here. It is so impersonal, you can rarely connect to any of the staff as you are just a number and it is so big it took me three days to find my way back to my room. So irritating when you just want to duck back to get something. The rooms are in large blocks of 3 floors that resemble prison blocks. They all look the same and parts are not accessible without going up and down and around to get to where you want to go. Most of the time I ended up at a dead end and had to backtrack and start all over again. It was more than frustrating. I ran into a woman who was quite lost and said she was still trying to find her room after looking for it for hours. There is a garden in the middle of each block to soften the look but hasn’t been successful in my opinion. It’s very frustrating and long to get anywhere. It is very depressing walking around. Breakfast’s are busy with a poor layout creating bottle necks everywhere of people trying to get to the counters of food. Food choices felt like a typical hotel - nothing particularly special. Room servicing is done mid afternoon. Why it can’t be done in the morning mystifies me. I just want my room serviced in the morning so I have no more intrusions or waiting around. The room I booked - deluxe is very expensive for a small, cramped and very dated and depressing interior. No outside towel rack to hang wet swimmers on and a balcony that you can barely turn around on. There is no way to sit and enjoy the view because it is so uncomfortably small with the most inappropriate outdoor furniture that you can’t get past to get onto the balcony. I won’t stay here again. There are definitely better choices for less.
Always a lovely experience here. Perfect location, great food n service and fab kids club! Pizzaria restaurant has good live music and good food and wine. Thanks 😊
A beautiful hotel with friendly and very helpful staff in a great location. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again.
