- Hyatt Regency Bali

Set on the old site of Bali Hyatt on the main street of Sanur, the hotel is located on a delightful beachfront and nine hectares of lush tropical gardens. Each of 363 rooms is elegantly designed with a modern Balinese touch and overlooks the tranquil gardens or the Indian Ocean. The hotel is conveniently located near Bali's main tourist attractions, and the International Ngurah Rai Airport is just 16 km away.
We stayed at Hyatt Regency Bali for seven nights and honestly could not fault a single thing. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We reached the hotel around three hours before check-in, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They happily stored our luggage, and even better, they contacted us via WhatsApp to let us know our room was ready an hour before the official check-in time.
Every member of staff we encountered throughout our stay was genuinely warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully maintained, serviced daily and had everything we could possibly need. The entire property is immaculate, and it's clear how much pride the staff take in keeping it that way. The tropical gardens are stunning, with beautiful ponds filled with koi fish and even a family of ducks that kept us entertained throughout our stay.
The location was also fantastic. The hotel is within easy walking distance of numerous cafés, restaurants, local shops and day spas, making it incredibly easy to explore Sanur without needing transport. We also enjoyed walking along the beachfront promenade, and even Icon Bali was only around a 25-minute walk away.
The facilities were excellent. We loved that there were separate pools for adults and children, making it easy to find a peaceful spot to relax. The beachfront sun loungers were the perfect place to spend an afternoon, and whenever we ordered food or drinks by the pool, the service was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was consistently delicious and, while naturally more expensive than local restaurants, still represented excellent value for a five-star resort.
We also dined at Pizzaria several times during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The quality of the food and service was outstanding.
The absolute highlight, however, was the breakfast buffet. Having stayed in many hotels around the world, I can honestly say this was the best breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. The variety was extraordinary, with an impressive selection of Western, Asian and Indonesian dishes, all beautifully presented and constantly replenished. The Eggs Benedict station, offering five different variations, was a standout, as were the yoghurt bar and the incredible bakery selection.
Hyatt Regency Bali exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful grounds, exceptional facilities, an outstanding location, incredible food and, above all, genuinely wonderful staff made this one of the best hotel stays we've ever experienced. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sanur.
Hotel is large with Amazing gardens and staff. The check in was a bit slow after a big flight and reception is always busy. The breakfast had a large selection but the hot food was cold most the time unless ordered.
The rooms were lovely and clean not huge .There is 4 stories and very large and spread out so to walk to somewhere is a big walk.
The staff were always friendly
I would not stay here again as it is to big of a resort for my liking but agree people would love this resort especially with children.
Price is same as Australia.everything is in usd.
Out of this world. The room, staff and food were 10 out of 10. I would recommend this place to anyone . You will not be disappointed
Have been staying with the Hyatt over past 20 years and the renovation has certainly added benefits without taking away the charm and the traditional Balinese feel. Still one of the best resorts in Sanur. Nothing more beautiful than relaxing enjoying good food and wine overlooking the ocean.
Lovely resort. Great pools, if you can get a lounge! ( as with so many places, people reserve pool lounge chairs with towels then leave!) Great position, many cafes and restaurants close by. Sadly the beach path is becoming unpleasant at times to scroll along due to the number of bicycles. Lovely dpot
