Fabulous villa
Absolutely fantastic one month stay at Villa B18. Our host Gary and his amazing team, especially Dewa are amazing. The Villa is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need including a superb pool. It is superbly situated in Sunar with fabulous restaurants and the beach all within easy walking distance.
It need´s renovation but good.
The villa area is in a good location near the beach. The path to the beach isn't exactly the prettiest, but it's good. The staff is very friendly and happy to help if needed. IN the neighborhood you can find a lot of restaurants.
Unfortunately, the villa area is quite dated, and it seems as if nothing has been improved in a long time. The furniture feels like it's from the 80s, and you can see it in the houses and areas in the villa area.
Good Location - Villa Okay
We joined my sister and her husband for a week here. The villas are in a good location, easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants etc, although the foot paths are a nightmare at the moment with all the renovations in the area. The Villa was 11A I think, and it was okay. Some of the furniture is a bit dated and needs an upgrade, the kitchen was big and functional. We had an issue with our ensuite toilet the entire week, even though the repair man came in to look at it, it just ran constantly. No draws in any of the bedrooms, just shelves.
The villas are serviced daily, but we got ours done every second day as our maid, while lovely, was very slow and took 3 hours some days, they wash the towels etc in the villa and wait until the cycle is done, which is a total pain, so we opted for every 2nd day cleaning, which isn't ideal, but she wasn't going to work any faster. The sheets on our bed had a couple of marks on them and were not changed the whole week, unlike other villas we've stayed at which had a 4 day changeover.

These villas are nice but you pay for the privilege They are set up for the month but you can’t afford them for the month No breakfast no soap change no hand wash soap Staff are nice as are all se Asian people For the money you pay here you can find better

Apts pool is smoking area.
This relates to apartments only. We are currently staying in Apt 1 with a shared pool that is also the designated smoking area. Never seen that before. With heavy smokers staying, the pool area smells, there are overflowing ashtrays and it is uncomfortable for non smokers. Be aware. We will not return.
