The Laguna Resort and Spa

We had an absolutely fantastic 5-day stay at The Laguna Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua. The hotel is beautifully located right on the oceanfront, with stunning surroundings, comfortable rooms, and numerous swimming pools with both saltwater and freshwater. The food and drinks at the restaurants were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. Everything we tried was delicious!

A special thank you to Daria, who handled our check-in and gave us a wonderful introduction to the resort. She also arranged a small birthday cake for my wife, which made the occasion even more special.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Rio from Guest Services. We had forgotten to bring birthday candles, assuming we could easily find some in a local shop, but unfortunately, that turned out to be much harder than expected! Thanks to Mr. Rio’s kindness and efforts to help us, we were able to celebrate my wife’s birthday properly. Also many thank for the goodbye presents, this was very sweet.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Of course, if you deliberately look for flaws, you can probably find some anywhere. But I spent five wonderful nights here, relaxed, enjoyed every moment, and never felt the need to look for anything negative.

Highly recommended! We would be very happy to return.

Our 4th time coming to Bali and staying at this hotel. An amazing place with amazing staff. We don't just consider the staff as staff anymore, I feel like they are our friends and family. They really make the holiday special, as it is their hard work and effort to maintain the hotel and service to such a high standard. We had great conversations with them.

From the pool boys, gardeners and waiters/waitresses in the bars, to the reception team, porter boys, housekeeping and musicians/dancers - every one of them plays an important role in making our stay feel like authentic Bali. We were able to enjoy the pools around the hotel, loved the Bintangs and cocktails at De Bali, Sapphire Bar and Banyubiru and the food everywhere in the hotel was amazing.

Booking the excursions was easy and when we asked for a table to be made up especially for my mother's birthday at reception, nothing was too much trouble and the team made it a perfect evening for us all.

A special thank you to Lilik in De Bali for her exceptional service and kindness, along with Aprin and his team for their genuine smiles and service, Ade in Banyubiru along with Sukas, Komang, Wira for their unwavering service to us for the full 12 days we were there for, and making our breakfasts and dinners pleasurable and memorable.

We'd also like to mention how talented Subrata in the Sapphire bar is for making us one of his own cocktails, which he called Sapphire Tropical. It tastes amazing and would be good to see this on the menu.

We appreciate not many people stay in the hotel as long as we do these days, but all of the teams provided genuine smiles and kindness to us every day. Thank you to all of them, even if they didn't serve/speak with us directly.

The rooms were just as before, exceptionally clean and tidy with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable and we thank the housekeeping team for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing.

Stunningly beautiful hotel and grounds, and pools with balinese statues. There is no better place to be in our opinion!

Management are clearly training and providing the best resources and support to provide such a good service via each individual, so thank you to them also, as it appears the colleagues ate genuinely happy to be there.

We will definitely be back again and hope to see them all soon at our second home! Thank you for an amazing and memorable holiday!
