We booked the accommodation via bookings.com. Stayed as a couple for 3 nights, with breakfast. The transfer from the resort to the airport was also booked on bookings.com and was affordable at IDR118 000.
Arrival and lobby area We arrived at 12 midday, and the room was ready for us. There is staff waiting at the drop-off to assist with luggage. At the lobby, there is a tour desk and the Bali Collection (shopping mall ) desk for arrivals and departures. The shopping mall offers free shuttle services to guests near the mall. Tips
- I noticed other guests ordering food from Grab and having it delivered to the concierge desk. They would dial your room, and you could fetch the delivery.
- The concierge desk has a bag scale you can use at checkmout or dial the lobby and they will bring it to you.
- A complimentary drinks voucher is provided and can be redeemed at the beach bar, however it is for a specific purple ice tea drink and not of your choice.
- It seems like all guests are provided with a free photo shoot voucher that comes with 5 free digital photos, additional can be purchased at $10 per digital photo. You can view the photos a day after the photoshoot. Scan the QR code on the voucher for the whats app number to make an appointment.
Room We stayed in a deluxe room. Comfortable bed, more the adequate spaces for the luggage, a lounge area. There was a two seater patio set. The bathroom is huge, big tub, rain shower. The water in the evening from the shower was always luke warm. The is foam bath provided.
Breakfast The breakfast was a buffet served at the Gading resort. There is an option to have breakfast al carte at the resturant below the lobby but it's the same food as Gading resturant only plated. There is a wide variety of food for different requirements such as vegetarian, gluten free, india, Chinese. Therecare a variety of pastries, bread, different egg option, samosa, spring rolls etc. Tip:
- Sit at the end of the resturant near the Homya redturant darker brown chairs. The service is faster as there are dedicated staff for a smaller area.
- order cappuchinos, latte or hot chocolate at your table, which will be brought from the coffee bar. There is a self service coffee machine, but it was not good.
- You can order the cappuchinos as an example extra hot as it takes a while to get to your table as is luke warm.
Resturants The service at the Gading resturant is very slow. It is a large resturant with few staff. For supper, waited 10 minutes for someone to wipe the table, another 10 minutes for the menu and so on. Food is average in taste. Tip: sit at the side with the darker brown chairs near Homya resturant, faster service. The beach cafe service was fast and efficient. Again average food.
Beach Plenty of loungers. Some umbrellas are broken, swop it yourself. It can be a while to find someone to do this. The beach is a public beach, with other resorts next to it and locals visiting. Howeve4 the locals didn't seem to bother the guests or vome to the parts in front of the resort. The ocean has coral, plastics dirt and seaweed. However it is warm, light blue and still managed to enjoy it. Some guest started picking up the trash from the ocean which helped make the swim cleaner. Tip:
- Wear aqua shoes
- There are ladies from the area walking around offering massages for IDR 200 000. The resort does not support it as it was mentioned they have poor quality oils. If you do utilize it, bring your on oil.
- Little QR code paper stands with lounger numbers are placed in between loungers from 11am. Scan the code and order drinks from the menu. The drinks and card machine will be brought to you.
- The fresh coconut drinks seem to sell quickly and may get out of stock
Checkout Tips:
- Check-out is still 12 but you may request check for 1 or 2pm depending on availability. This must be done 24 hours before checkout.
Overall, lovely stay. When compared to other resort it met what we needed at s cheaper price then the other resorts.

Unforgettable Stay At Merusaka
We stayed at Merusaka Nusa Dua for 9 nights in Suite 8307 and had a wonderful experience. Our suite was spotless, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the ocean and hotel grounds. The housekeeping team did an amazing job keeping the room looking brand new every day, replacing towels and cleaning everything (even the coffee machine). The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The pools were very clean and well maintained, while the beach was beautiful. Some days there was a lot of seaweed in the water, but the staff worked hard to clear it, and on other days the water was crystal clear and perfect for swimming. As suite guests, we enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea with snacks and evening cocktails every day, as well as the added benefit of 6 complimentary pieces of laundry per day, which was very convenient during our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of classic, Indonesian, and Asian dishes. The only area that could be improved was the food at some of the other restaurants, as some dishes at Gading were over seasoned and a few dishes at Ja’Jan were quite salty. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would happily return. The beautiful resort, fantastic service, excellent housekeeping, and stunning surroundings made our holiday very memorable.

Excellent choice for a relaxing stay in Bali.
Massive hotel with many pools to choose from,very clean , extremely helpful and professional staff,rooms are very nice with massive beds and are serviced daily,we had a pool access room which was lovely with a private area with chairs to stit and soak up the atmosphere and watch the squirrels play in the coconut trees,our room was also very quiet and peaceful,many places to eat and prices were reasonable,short walk to the beach and beach club, breakfast was a treat with a massive selection catering for all tastes over all a great choice to stay when U come to Bali.just an additional comments where out room was lovely our bar fridge didn't work and the shower fell apart .

A great hotel to relax by the beach
Me and my family (a total of 4) stayed at Merusaka Nusa Dua during the 1st week of August. We were at two rooms in one of the Puris with a shared pool. Rooms are clean, have two bath options (shower and bathtub) and a small living room with a sofa. One interesting equipment available: mosquitoes electric deterrent. The access to the pool and breakfast/ dining area is very easy - just walk for a 5 to 10 min on a straight open corridor. From here you can go right to the pool and you also have a clear view to the beach. Food is very good. We tried all the major restaurants. We went for the All- Inclusive package. Service can be sometimes a bit slow during diner but they compensate by being extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is quite good. Beautiful landscape with a large sandy area and easily accessible shore, even when it had some currents. All the staff was very nice with us, always eager to help and make sure you were enjoying your stay.
