Nestled within the luxurious enclave of Nusa Dua, Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua resort is an idyllic destination in a prime location with a wide variety of entertainments, shopping and dining options all conveniently close by with only 15 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. There are 244 refreshing and spacious guest rooms and 6 suites to choose from which offer marble bathrooms, plush bedding, rain showers, free Wi-Fi and private balconies with spectacular views of lush garden or lagoon pool. Each room furnished with two doubles or King size bed. In addition to hotel white sand beach club, the property features a stunning lagoon pool, children's pool, fully equipped gym, luxury onsite spa, Kids club, superb dining and new facilities of lazy river pool with swim-up bar and yoga pavilion. Fabulous accommodation, lacking beach
Nice hotel with a few pools and a lazy river. Two Marriott properties share the facilities but you are free to utilize either water amenities - though pool towels need to come from the property you are staying at.
Rooms were nicely furnished and it was comfortable. Staff were friendly and courteous.
They do not have a beach on site, but provide an hourly shuttle to their beach location. They have beach chairs and umbrella with light food and drink service available. The chairs area had umbrella but not umbrella you could take closer to the waters). So it was hot even when we went in the morning, it was unbearable. Plus the sand was coarse. There was trash all over the seaside. The only thing that made our one hour at the beach fun was getting to look at sea creatures due to the low tide and some tide pools.

First time to Nusa Dua and I'm totally sold on the location.
Fantastic resort made even better by sharing the facilities with Nusa Dua Gardens. The Courtyards pool is incredible and very relaxing. Such a great environment, large, and user-friendly pool. The Gardens pool is also great, a little more family friendly. We migrated between the two. Kids (and adults) loved the lazy river. Never two busy, always relaxing.
Breakfast was very good. Hard to fault. I'm not the type of person to like to ask for things and then wait so my only gripe is having to wait for pancakes. They go as quickly as they were cooked. Otherwise, Brillant.
The restaurants in both Courtyard and the Gardens are great.
If I was suggesting the Courtyard to others, which I have, I would sell it on being right next to a shopping strip (seemed to be one of few in Nusa Dua). Rather than being resigned to the Resort restaurant each night we could step out the side gate and have multiple good restaurants to choose from (we recommend Philanthropy and W Gourmet). There was good shopping there as well and it was way more laid back. It had the usual 'cheap' stuff but seemed to cater for a different market than Kuta, Legian etc. They let you browse rather than hound you.
The beach club was good (5 min drive in a Resort van each hour). Stunning location and a great walk along the beach 'resort spotting'. Still preferred the pool :).
Nusa Dua Collection was a very easy walk (even with the kids). Heaps of very good restaurants and lots of authentic shops. The Indonesian markets also had some awesome stuff. Again, there's a shuttle if you don't want to walk but it is very easy and shaded if you choose to walk.
Finally, we travelled with 3 kids aged 4, 8, and 11. The Courtyard was Brillant for them. They could swim comfortably and safely while we 'supervised' from the side with drinks. The ability to pop out the side gate with the kids kept them entertained. We booked out two rooms. They weren't adjoining unfortunately but it wasn't a problem (unless you're my wife who landed with the 4-year-old). Super clean, tidy, quiet and reasonably spacious.
All in all, I can't fault it. Have recommended it to others and would happily go back.
Punches above its weight as a courtyard
The shared facilities here a great, with lovely, large landscaped pools, a lazy river, floats provided for the pools and some good food and drink outlets. The room was comfortable too, with excellent, friendly housekeeping and there was a lot to see close to the resort too.
Best resort ever
This was our 3rd stay at Courtyard and again we were not disappointed. The staff, from the front desk, pool guys, housekeeping, gardening and breakfast staff were all amazing. It is without a doubt the best service we have ever had in a resort. The grounds are perfection, the pools and rooms so clean and the buffet breakfast is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Special mention to Ari for keeping our room serviced. Thankyou all so much

More Training for the Housekeeping Team
I have actually stayed here a number of times without any issue. But my last month stay was not the Courtyard standard I had expected. We stayed there for 2 nights. The disappointment started on the second night. First, the housekeeping forgot to replace the coffee and tea supplies in the room when he did the cleaning. On the next day, one of the housekeeper burst into our room even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on, and my wife was not properly dressed. I don't know how a world class hotel could train their staffs so poorly?
