Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Having had 3 nights in ubud at the kajane mua which was busy outside of the hotel our villa there was peaceful and tranquil.
We were expecting to stay here at the Conrad for a relaxing experience of which it was not.
We were awoken late at night with porters wheeling things to and from storage areas. We complained to staff which supposedly sorted it out but to be awoken at 5:30 am every morning with the same thing happening it was hardly fair. They did not offer for our room to be changed. We were in the block which faced out onto the wedding green area. There was also a wedding happing on one of the days we stayed but that finished at 10pm which wasn’t too bad. They could do with sound proofing the sliding doors to the room which would help.
We used the restaurant a couple of times. The food was ok but we like to explore so used local restaurants on street. (Also a lot cheaper) breakfast was good a great selection and a few places you could eat at. The main restaurant was super busy and noisy so we went to the smaller one which was much calmer.
The beach was sectioned off for water activities and the noise from jet skis etc wasn’t the experience we wanted from beach Bali. If you go further down the other end towards other hotels near blow hole the beaches there are much nicer and family friendly.
Balanese Massage we had from someone on Main Street was beautiful very cheap too.
The pavements outside the hotel on main road are hazardous so not good if you are disabled as they are not accessible friendly. Beach side they are more suitable.
Overall we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again as it’s too big and noisy for us and we would stay further down the coast.
The check-in process was seamless and Rani helped me with a few requests I had since I had a two-part stay and didn’t want to have to check out of one room and go into another. She explained all of the amenities of the hotel and how I could reach her and other front desk members quickly no matter what my question or need was. Rani was pleasant, knowledgeable and made me feel at home. I look forward to coming back to this hotel because of this team member.!
Fantastic hotel , beautiful aroma as you walk around ; think to deter flies etc.

Conrad Bali is one of those places where you arrive and immediately understand why people rave about resorts.
This place is BIG — beautifully, gloriously big. The gardens, the pools, the pathways, the beachfront, the whole layout… it feels less like a hotel and more like an entire little tropical world.
And the pool situation is ridiculous in the best possible way. There are pools everywhere, including the enormous lagoon pool running through the resort. You could quite happily spend an entire day swimming, lying around, eating, drinking and doing absolutely nothing else.
The beach is another huge plus. This is properly beachfront, with a beautiful stretch of sand and the ocean right there. You don’t have that slightly annoying feeling of being at a “beach resort” where the beach is technically somewhere in the vicinity. Here, it really is part of the experience.
But what I loved most was that despite the scale and the luxury, it didn’t feel cold or sterile. The whole place has a warmth to it. The staff were wonderful and there was still that lovely Balinese feeling of being looked after rather than simply being serviced.
After coming from Maya Sanur, the contrast was fascinating. Maya had this wonderful, intimate, walk-out-into-Sanur feeling. Conrad is the opposite: you walk in and think, “Holy wow, look at this place.”
And honestly, that was exactly what I wanted.
The rooms and grounds are beautiful, the food is excellent, the pools are spectacular and the beachfront is gorgeous. There is also enough going on that you can happily stay inside the resort for an entire day without feeling like you are missing out.
Conrad Bali is not just a hotel. It is a proper holiday destination.
I absolutely loved it.
Excellent hotel, amazing staff, amazing food and top facilities.
I would recommend, big shout out for bui at the suko restaurant who went the extra mile with all of the guests and making it a top stay.
